30191 I'm getting to hate reading challenges. I'm so challenged I feel like I'm slipping into illiteracy.

No challenges next year.

Well, maybe one or two. :/

30191 I am currently reading Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov The Master and Margarita A Critical Companion (AATSEEL) by Laura Weeks The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger Death of a Macho Man (Hamish Macbeth, #12) by M.C. Beaton

And some more I can't think of, luckily.

I feel stressed enough as it is.

30191 Just got The White Queen (Cousins' War, #1) by Philippa Gregoryand a big splurge: 1,000 Steampunk Creations Neo-Victorian Fashion, Gear, and Art (1000 Series) by Grymm which is super-gorgeous and fabulous fun. Coming on the heels of last week (but not again for a long time, due to need to pay rent & support children, etc.) The Steampunk Bible An Illustrated Guide to the World of Imaginary Airships, Corsets and Goggles, Mad Scientists, and Strange Literature by Jeff VanderMeer, also incredibly cool, fun, gorgeous & has good reads inside as well.

Summer fun. The kid in me is out to play.

30191 I'm embarrassed to even begin to admit how many unread books I have sitting on my shelf, glaring at me. Here's a few: Heresy by S.J. Parris The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (Flavia de Luce, #1) by Alan Bradley Death of a Gossip (Hamish Macbeth, #1) by M.C. Beaton Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace The White Queen (Cousins' War, #1) by Philippa Gregory The Recognitions by William Gaddis Call It Sleep by Henry Roth Giles Goat Boy by John Barth Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon The Mystery of the Blue Train (Poirot) by Agatha Christie The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon Her Royal Spyness (Her Royal Spyness Mysteries, #1) by Rhys Bowen Maisie Dobbs (Maisie Dobbs, #1) by Jacqueline Winspear Twenty Grand And Other Tales of Love and Money by Rebecca Curtis All Souls Day by Cees Nooteboom Agatha Raisin and the Day the Floods Came (Agatha Raisin, #12) by M.C. Beaton Moloka'i by Alan Brennert Joseph Heller's Catch 22 (Monarch Notes) by Walter James Miller The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford Mansfield Park by Jane Austen Murder on Lexington Avenue (A Gaslight Mystery, #12) by Victoria Thompson Murder on Waverly Place (A Gaslight Mystery, #11) by Victoria Thompson The Mapping of Love and Death (Maisie Dobbs, #7) by Jacqueline Winspear Changeless (The Parasol Protectorate, #2) by Gail Carriger Blameless (The Parasol Protectorate, #3) by Gail Carriger Leviathan (Leviathan, #1) by Scott Westerfeld Behemoth (Leviathan, #2) by Scott Westerfeld Shriek An Afterword by Jeff VanderMeer City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff VanderMeer The Queen of Patpong A Poke Rafferty Thriller by Timothy Hallinan
And these are just the books I should have already read but first I have to finish the 30 "currently reading" ones.
But that's another post!

Let me know what you think when you finish Dalia-62 pages to get to interesting, is that a good thing for you? 'Cause it wouldn't really be for me. I don't think. I guess it would depend how interesting. Hmm. :/

30191 Literary fiction, mysteries (mostly cozies, some police procedural) and sci fi. Then bursts of bios, especially celebs. I like to switch it up :D
