Isn't that what happened with the Obernewtyn Chronicles US and Australian editions? The first four books are the same and have both series listed. So if there was no name differentiation and instead had been labeled in the same way as Parasyte, it would probably look extremely odd. I really hope that made sense...

220 One of the best places to find the information is worldcat (if you haven't looked there already).

You definitely did the right thing if this was a different edition, but in fact, the information matched other than the publisher & page number. This is because the information imported from B&N has Macmillan as the publisher (probably because Bobbs-Merrill was purchased by Macmillan in 1985.) and page count is quite commonly incorrect. I merged the two editions and uploaded the cover (since the one being sourced from Amazon was just a placeholder), so the correct information is now there for you.

Edit: Also, all the information you had for the ISBN matches WorldCat and there was no edition from Macmillan listed there.

220 It doesn't need to be deleted, what it needs is to have the author disambiguated (which I did).

220 Please delete this placeholder as a real edition has now been added.

It does, thank you :) The descriptions are now on the books.

Partial editions being combined with the complete edition is incorrect. They are no longer combined. I would like to get descriptions for the books in French if I can, but for now they just have the same default description from before.

Edit: I've added the French versions to the series list as well.

Also, I've corrected the mistake with Beautiful Creatures vs. Beautiful Darkness.

220 Okay, so if I understand correctly from what you stated and what I read on wikipedia, the two volumes are actually sold together as a set. In this case, I think it would be treated like a box set. Usually, the cover is not shown, but a side shot showing the spines are used and the page count is the total of the books together, if it is provided. See the various Harry Potter box sets. But I would think that if it is just two books, you could create a picture with both covers side by side and upload that as the cover. The page counts for each book could be detailed in the description.

I was wondering who combined them. I was combining her other works and got down to those and all of the sudden they were together. I was very confused for a second or two :)

220 I merged the authors to be only the full name and the editions are now combined.

Me, too :)

Thanks for reminding me. The original descriptions were not descriptions at all, but reviews. I forgot to go back and put in a real description for them. They are done now.

220 You're welcome :)

220 In the book edit page, or when you are adding the book, you can designate an image from your computer at the top right. Or you can ask someone here to do it if you let us know where to get the image from.

I added the image from the blog for now. If it is incorrect, let me know where I can get the correct image and I'll replace it if you can't figure out how to do it on your own.

This should be deleted, then?"

Actually, it was decided they should stay (see this thread), but with librarian notes to not combine them with the full work and an indication in the description.

Okay, I'll do that for the two I know of and anymore that I see.
