1112 I hear that about Spells. That the beginning is slow. I haven't heard much about the end result though.

1112 =O. Dont tell me which guy it is or ill destroy you! I know who I hope for, but then again the other one wasn't exactly a well developed character in Wings (Tamani) in my opinion. All I got was what he looked like and that she had some connection with him. Im assuming that he becomes more developed in Spells since she goes to the faery realm for her summer and actually spends time with him.

1112 However, I believe Miley is also attempting to break away from Disney nowadays.. So maybe she will choose not to do it, so that she may "blossom" into her true nature...and stop pretending to be the goody goody we know she isn't.

1112 Mmmm I agree. I loved HP, but I am more or less satisfied with their ending and storyline. I wouldn't mind a new, fantabulous series out of her though.

Then again, HPs shoes are going to be pretty hard to fill.

1112 Just finished Coraline and enjoyed it. Different from the move, but similar enough that you could tell it was indeed the same story. A nice easy read for anyone looking for a quick one.

1112 Alan, I'm fairly sure you are right about that... Especially if you are a newer author.

Have you tried going to a local bookstore seeing if they will host a book signing for you yet?

1112 I just finished Hunted yesterday. I like the series, however, I find that I need to read one and go off and read something else before I pick up the next one. I actually had initially started reading Hunted a few months ago, but I had to put it down. I couldn't do it then. I went off and read other stories, enjoyed other worlds, and then came back to Zoey Redbird and really enjoyed it.

I like the way it is written. I think for the age genre it is geared towards it makes it easier for the reader to relate to Zoey. Yes, some of the pop culture references are a bit too much at times. It is almost like they are trying to hard to ensure that the younger readers are going to be able to relate to the story.

I also find the Twins rather annoying. I don't like all her "boy" problems and I think Damien could be a bit better developed. To me he is starting to feel like a walking stereotype placed in the story for some sort of balance. Actually, now that I think about it, quite a few of the characters are more or less walking stereotypes.

However, I will continue reading. I have this thing with series, no matter if they are boring, I find I have to finish them at some point in time.
