I really didn't like it either. It does seem that people either really liked it or didn't like it. I had trouble with the writing style-it was very poetic, but not for me. I also have a review of this book here on goodreads. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...

I wanted my coworker to read it just to see if anyone felt the same way I did. It was one of those books I almost gave up on.
