I'm a bit confused as to what hasn't been reserved as the front hasn't been updated in a while?I already read:
Last Name U
Name in Title Q
And I reserved 'Name in Title I' but it's not noted in the front either? I'd like to see what's left to see if I can reserve it.
LOL, dismiss this! For some reason, when I clicked on the newest message, it took me to the previous page. :)
I'm skipping the last task...really not into the book I chose! Ended up with 2500 points which is not bad for one round I guess. ;)
Not sure what I'll read...most likely
or
.I'll be traveling a lot so I won't be able to read as much as I usually do. :)
LOL, Adrienne. You think that's too much? I'm actually in the minority compared to most of my friends. :)I used to have it at 200...but ever since I got an e-reader, it's been creeping up and up!
But Recorded Books doesn't get a share of the print/ebook sales so what does it matter to them if people buy both versions? These days, almost everybody else releases the audio and the print/ebook together because they want to take advantage of the hype behind the release date. I can't believe that Recorded Books has found a magical formula that gets them more sales once the print version has been out for 3 months.
I've been racking my mind (as a marketer) to try to understand this decision and I can't find anything that makes sense. RB is:
a) alienating customers
b) running the risk that some people just go with the print version and don't buy the audio
I have a rant planned in the blog against Recorded Books (not against Ilona or Gordon because I know it's not their fault.)
Sorry to butt in ladies but I wanted to ask Lauren a question. Did you know that the audio of
audio is coming out in OCTOBER?I'm so freaking mad.

Here in NYC we have to pick them up but they have so many branches that it's not a problem (I think I read somewhere that there was a branch within a mile of everywhere in the City.)
