770270 Indeed. The bots are rapidly and surely taking over all human functions.

They're building an orchestra in heaven!"

Charlie seemed very unsuited to the lifestyle adopted by the rest of the band, but presumably he cannot have been too unhappy or he would not have stayed for so many decades.

770270 Unfortunately not, only the feeble old ones. But on a good day I can lift a slim paperback.

770270 It was metaphorical wrestling. It seems my password was compromised, so I tried to change it as advised. But this was not as easy as I hoped!

770270 I spent the day wrestling with my GR password problem. But now I am in again. Hooray! But it is just one battle in the long war between carbon and silicon.
770270 Yes, he is one of my literary heroes.

770270 RIP Don Everly. My first record was by the brothers.

770270 Sense? That is a commodity in short supply. I am sure such a vast amount of liquid must have caused him problems, if only inconvenience. But anyway, his mind continued to be inventive.
770270 I adapted the quotation slightly. He certainly bought a lot of tea. It is reported that some days he drank 27 cups!
770270 Well, for dangerous and repetitive jobs it is a good idea. But boring? As Doctor Johnson said: A man who is tired of grocery shopping or car repairs is tired of life!

770270 When? Well, Queen Cynethryth died circa 800 AD. Doctor Gabor and his team worked I assume this year. It has taken a long time to solve the mystery, but better late than never.

770270 Grasshopper wrote: ""Taliban say they will guarantee women’s rights under the 'limits of Islam' following takeover of Afghanistan" https://twitter.com/i/events/14248746..."

Are the words of a Taliban politician more trustworthy than those of other politicians?
