Australia is fortunate to have no aristocrats, but the internet tells me that some citizens do show eccentric tendencies.
A wifelet is a female companion, of which Thynne had a number, who is not a legal wife. This is an example of the eccentric behaviour common with British aristocrats.
There are definitely bad practices, but I think UK compares well with the rest of the world.

A question for Ian: In a multiple star solar system, do the planets have non-elliptical orbits?
Difficult to say for sure. But if the sun swallowed us tomorrow, we would have had a good run. And we would not have to worry about carbon dioxide any more!
