Jumping in. Again no notification. GR's is starting to get on my last nerve

I was doing early prep work for my dinner tonight. I so wish GR's would send me notifications so I wouldn't have missed this sprint....GRRRRRRRRR makes me so mad. I hope you guys will be going again after this round. I have 2 books I want to finish this week

That's perfect. I got it from the library and couldn't believe how massive it is. I also got the audio and have been reading and then listening BUT I have discovered I love listening and following along at the same time. I did that the sprint before last and I got over 50 pages done. I might do that with Becoming too. Non fiction is hard to follow but if I listen and follow along it might be better AND I love Michelle Obama's voice. She is such a great speaker. I could listen to her all day. That's also why I wanted the audio when I found out she was narrating her book

I have watched a lot of booktube videos and they say the beginning of the book was a bore but there was a horrific murder scene and an alley scene that was anything but a bore. It is massive and I checked it out from the library and I have 5 days left to get it read. I'm sprinting all day today and tomorrow to get a lot of it done

I'm on page 126 and I'm liking it a lot

Well I didn't do such a great job this time.

8 pages. I had to do dishes so I hooked up the audio of my book and I would turn the book on and my mom would start talking. Every time I turned it on she would say something....lol...I said I'm turning on my book now and 2 minutes would go by and she would start talking again. I'm now in my room with no talking mothers :D

She's mostly blind so she couldn't see my headphones in my ears

Me too. My son came over after work to get food then he went to his apartment. All my kids that live in town all live in this complex. It's nice to have them here. I know I can read more than 31 pages
