Elizabeth, I hit a slump not that long ago and I find fluffy romances do the trick. They are easy to read and no brain power. Just light and fluffy and some are swoon worthy.I also like fantasy books that have romance. Romance seems to pull me out of a slump
I posted a minute or two early because I was afraid I would be late. My mom can only see a tiny bit. She never knows that she has made a big mess. She thinks she's helping me out when she gets her own food or cleans the dishes out of the sink. I would never tell her she dropped a spoonful of jelly on my counter and then smeared it everywhere. Nor will I ever tell her she left egg yolk on most of the plate. I just go behind her and clean up. She was a nurse for 30 years and the strongest woman I have ever known. I let her have these moments of independence because she hates to feel like she is a burden on me. I repeatedly tell her it's my turn to take care of her and I do it gladly. She wants to wash her dish and make her food. I don't know what it's like for her so I will continue to let her do her thing and continue to go behind her and clean up :)I would hope my own kids will one day do the same for me
All my kids have been around. My daughter called me during the last sprint. Ub was laid off so he's home until the next job call. I understand interruptions
