Hi all! I'm Julia from Virginia and I have a TBR "problem". I welcomed this challenge because I'm always distracted by the shiny and the new, so the TBR books keep being set aside or just added to the shelves to be rediscovered later with "When did I get this?" I started small with Pike's Peak. My TBRs are nearly all paperback/hardback, since I didn't get an actual e-reader until this year. (I used my smartphone for awhile but the screen was just too small and battery always ran down.)
Strong Poison was a surprise finish for me. I'd tried reading it before and got bogged down a bit at the beginning but once I was past the length trial scene, I think I was fine.Garden of Iden was absorbing but odd. I loved the backstory of the Company and I usually love the Tudor era of history. The POV was off-putting though, which made it a harder to get through at times.
I signed up for Pike's Peak. It's running in concert with the regular Goodreads challenge, so I'm mixing new and old books. I'm up to seven books already, but I've stalled a little. I have a couple that I've started, but I invariably find something else to read. Strong Poison
