58421 Thank you for all the help I got. Betty, thanks for all you did as team leader! I look forward to future readathons!

58421 I fibbed. I managed to squeeze in one more book, Death of a Salesman. I was thinking it can go towards office bc there’s a coatrack. But it’ll just be for points since it’s a double. It was 144 pages which can be added to my Sunday total. I can’t seem to edit the spreadsheet on my phone.

Also I don’t know if the second book for the book prompt was finished in time. If not, my book The Stranger in the Library can be moved to the tools prompt bc there’s a paintbrush on the cover and that’s a painting tool.

58421 I finished A Smoking Bun, and I am done. I’ve entered my info on the spreadsheet. But I’m on my iPad - no access to computer at the moment - and it was a little weird. So please fix if there are any errors.

This was also my first readathon, with the group. I also wish I didn’t have so much going on. But it was different and it was fun.

58421 I'm focusing on the bonus prompts but the spreadsheet looks as if we still have some open regular prompts. I can switch gears, if needed.

Wow, is the readathon over for you already? I'm so impressed you read 2 such big books for the readathon. Love The Last Hours trilogy, btw.

Makes sense. Just wishful thinking on my part.

I'm listening to The Stranger in the Library that can go for books, and reading A Smoking Bun for temperature.

58421 For some reason I'm struggling with the bonus prompts. I was blanking on what books I had on hand fit. It took me quite a bit of figuring out and some outside assistance to come up with book options.

I was also wondering if the books from the original prompts are locked in, and that we need to use new books for the bonus prompts. Bc one of my books, The Book of Lost Names, would work for the famous landmark if we could switch things around. I feel that the color blue prompt would be easier to replace.

58421 How exciting! We did it! I haven't taken a look yet bc I want to focus on finishing my books - I'm almost there. I hope I have books that can work and that I can finish in time.

Wow, awesome. This helps a lot. I can finish both my books today. And can help with anything else that is needed or might not be finished in time.

58421 I finished Siren Queen to complete our triple a proper title.

I'm going to start Beaches, Bungalows & Burglaries by Tonya Kappes that can fulfill a vehicle prompt and a crime prompt. However, I can shift gears if needed. I'm having trouble figuring out what is still needed and what is being currently read.

58421 I finished The 18th Abduction which can obviously go for numbers but since we don't seem to have anything for crime, I thought I put it there at least for now. I have a couple of books on hand that can go for numbers, if needed.

I plan on reading Dirty Thirty by Janet Evanovich next bc like all my other books, is a quick and easy read.

58421 I finished The Book of Lost Names. I ended up slotting it for color blue bc it seemed to have the least currently reading books for it. Feel free to move.

I've also started Siren Queen for the proper title prompt.

Thank you, D.L.!

Yesterday ended up being more exhausting than anticipated and I wasn't able to get on the computer. Today I got in some audio time but didn't get in as much reading as I thought I could.

58421 I finished Charlotte’s Web, which I’d been thinking for animals, but please place where needed.

I’ve started The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel which can go for a number of prompts, if I recall correctly.

If anyone can enter these books, so you can better see the bigger picture of what we still need. Otherwise I should have access to a computer tonight to add my info. Thanks!

58421 I just wanted to give a heads up that something's come up the rest of this week, and while I'll still be reading - albeit perhaps a little slower - I might not be able to update the spreadsheet. If I cannot, I will try to post my numbers here, so hopefully someone else can update the spreadsheet for me. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Aug 01, 2024 07:40AM

58421 I've added a book I'm currently reading to the spreadsheet since I've realized that I won't finish before the readathon starts and there will definitely be more than 100 pages left.
