Nominations to decide March's category is up, if you're interested.http://www.mobileread.com/forums/show...
But there are Classic Romances too, so there isn't an automatic price tag just because the category isn't "Classic". You can find classics for every single genre, unless its specifically "Modern" or "Contemporary".
By participating now, in getting the categories set for 2013, you can, hopefully, help avoid 16 months of classics. As much as I dislike the category, I'm not opposed to there being a month just for classics, I just don't want there to be more than one. But, if everyone who really wants more variety drops out, then its doomed to become the very thing they could help to avoid. Yes I'm pleading.
HIMS..you haven't voted either!! We're only on February and its a multiple choice vote so you can pick any and all of the nominated genres that intrest you. Please help us out!!

Thats what I fear. I'd personally do away with it altogether for the club seeing as: 1. People can always nominate a classic for whatever genre we happen to be reading; 2. All the literary club covers are classics.
Please Ms.J rejoin and help vote 2013 away from 12 months of classics!!!!
A few days ago I completed Lover Enshrined (Black Dagger Brotherhood #6), the last of my BDB rereads. I just finished the short story Father Mine: Zsadist and Bella's Story (Black Dagger Brotherhood #6.5). It was quite enjoyable. I am looking forward to continuing the series.
Just finished Lover Unbound. It was like I'd never read it before...I can't believe how much of this book I either forgot, or didn't recognize to begin with. I must have sped through it the last time around.
LOL You can still answer, if you like, anyway. As the resident book-pusher your input is greatly appreciated. :)
Heh. I rounded up the number of pages challenge from 15, 300 to 15, 500 - 1. Because I know many of my novels are longer than 300 and 2. because it looks better. It seems that I can now add 3. Its more accurate, based on your suggestion! :)
Question: What would you say is a good avg. for the number of pages for a short story? Novels avg. at approx. 300 pages, but I have no idea what the avg. is for a short story and I'd like to set a goal for "# of pages read" in 2013.
Thanks.
Edit: I read on Wikipedia that the accepted standard for a short story is anywhere between 5 & 20 pages; the average of which would be 12.5, therefore, 25 short stories would be just over 300 pages . So my page number goal for 2013 will be 15,500.

Ouch! Were they at least enjoyable?
I've just finished Lover Awakened. It was better than I remembered. I plan on starting Lover Revealed tonight.Part of me feels like I'm going through these too quickly, but the other part doesn't want to lose momentum!
EDIT: This was book #40 for the year.
LOL! No, just happy. :) Plus, taking every reading opportunity afforded throughout the day including a few late nights.
