I'm planning on finishing I Was a Teenage Slasher by SGJ. I'm actually having such a good time with it. I don't want to speak too soon, but I'm sensing a five-star rating.

It's taking me longer in Circe because I'm annotating, but I do want to get further in that too.

I don't really watch movies based on the season/holiday. I do tend to watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles around the last part of the year. I also plan to re-watch Beetlejuice before the new one comes out in theaters!

Yeah, I don't read either, but it would definitely be dark academia if I did.

I went clothes shopping and actually found a few pieces I really liked.

I also got a cool desk chair that was on sale.

I love to bake. I'd say cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, or banana bread are my favorite treats.

I found some vegetarian apple & sage sausages that I like to fry up and eat with peppers, onions, sriracha, and kewpie mayo. As a side I'll usually make mac n cheese. That's been a new favorite meal to make.

415964 LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What's Up Wednesday - What are you currently reading, watching, listening to, playing, loving, etc.?"

Currently reading: Circe by Madeline Miller, Giant Days vol 7 by John Allison, and I Was a Teenage Slasher by SGJ.

Watching: I've been watching a lot of streamers play a game called Still Wakes the Deep. The voice acting in the game is so good.

Listening: I've been listening to a lot of Soundgarden / Audioslave and some Bill Withers.

Playing: I've been obsessed with Cluedo after learning it's on Steam.

Loving: I'm still loving crocheting. I've also been sitting outside in the evenings and reading. I know it's supposed to get hot again, but the 70 degree weather has been amazing.
I also have a tennis ball shooter that I use to play with my dog, and she loves it so much so I've been enjoying watching her have fun with that.

I don't think there is a bookish world I'd want to live in. It's either too real or too scary.
