All the books I read are pretty serious, so most of the time the escape is with graphic novels / manga.

6. The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang (Sounds crazy but it's such a favorite of mine. I need to read it for a third time to eventually finish the series, and I'm just as excited as I was the first time.)

I forgot to include one in last weeks update, but I did finish The Goonies: The Illustrated Storybook by Brooke Vitale. Since then I finished I Was a Teenage Slasher by SGJ.

I read six books in August.
My favorite was either If an Egyptian Cannot Speak English by Noor Naga or Giant Days vols 5 & 6 by John Allison.

My least favorite was definitely The Wall by Marlen Haushofer. Genuinely, one of the most boring books I've ever read.
