Thanks Geri. Definitely, read what you like. If you don't see a space for it in the Tasks, then check out Bingo or Jackanory. There are still A LOT of items we need in those two "challenges" - we were just focusing on the tasks first to try and get some bonus points. But the main thing is to have fun and read what you like!

As we get closer to the end, then maybe we'll put a call out for some tasks we'd like to get done in order to get some bonus points. It's all in fun.

35559 I'm going for State of Fear by Michael Crichton . Tagged 2005 on 1st page of tags, or use it fir S or M in the SIO of PALMAS.

35559 Here's the Goodreads 2005 Bookshelf:

https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...

Perhaps you can find one there. But like Lisa said, you'll have to click on the book, then on the 1st page of tags to see if it has 2005.

35559 I'd prefer a SIO, but I'm good with the detour if everyone else is good.

Let's invite Cat since she is posting in both places.

35559 Hey everyone! We are doing great! Just a quick request that if you volunteered to do a particular task, and we put your name next to that task, please either finish the task by mid-June, or let us know to free it up for others to use. Many thanks!

35559 Has anyone heard anything from Abir lately? The last time we had a post from her was mid-February. I'm thinking we should probably pick up a hitchhiker for our next round if we want to try to get those 10 extra points each stop for everyone reading something.

35559 I nominate:

Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant
Gone by Michael Grant

In the blink of an eye, everyone disappears. Gone. Except for the young.

There are teens, but not one single adult. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened.

Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents—unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers—that grow stronger by the day. It's a terrifying new world. Sides are being chosen, a fight is shaping up. Townies against rich kids. Bullies against the weak. Powerful against powerless. And time is running out: On your 15th birthday, you disappear just like everyone else...

35559 Later by Stephen King
Later by Stephen King

#1 bestselling author Stephen King returns with a brand-new novel about the secrets we keep buried and the cost of unearthing them.

The son of a struggling single mother, Jamie Conklin just wants an ordinary childhood. But Jamie is no ordinary child. Born with an unnatural ability his mom urges him to keep secret, Jamie can see what no one else can see and learn what no one else can learn. But the cost of using this ability is higher than Jamie can imagine - as he discovers when an NYPD detective draws him into the pursuit of a killer who has threatened to strike from beyond the grave.

Later is Stephen King at his finest, a terrifying and touching story of innocence lost and the trials that test our sense of right and wrong. With echoes of King's classic novel IT, Later is a powerful, haunting, unforgettable exploration of what it takes to stand up to evil in all the faces it wears.

35559 Hey team! Sorry I've been MIA for the past several days. I just started a new job and it's a bit crazy right now. I'll look at where we are and update our status sheet later. I have a book or two to enter as well.
