I thought so, too, Chales! I didn't particularly like the MC, but I thought the concept was interesting and the various lives she tried out made me reflect on the choices I have made.

Perhaps a captain wouldn't mind a quick check as it's my first ..."Looks good, Thea. I added your name, and we just need date read and page count for your book.
So strange! I can only see it if I go to the book and then see your review and the shelves. But it's there. GRs is glitchy lately. The same thing might be happening with the two books from Deanna, too. Let me hunt.
Laura, I don't see The Power on your TT shelf. Can you add it when you have time?Deanna - same for Once Upon a Midnight Drow and Guardians of Magic.
I think everything else is up to date. I'll start transfering tomorrow.
It's the weekend again! I'll be updating the main spreadsheet and juggling around tasks. Be sure your completed books are on your TT shelf with a date read.
You can participate in as many BOM/DQs as you would like for points during the challenge. If you want to link your DQs on the line for the book (the headings say BOM and BOM Comments Link) we can copy the links to the official spreadsheet for points. We need at least three linked answers for the sheet to qualify for those points.
If you have claimed something on the planning sheet, please let us know asap if you aren't going to read it so we can re-open that task it's covering. No rush, I'd just hate to miss something because we thought it was covered but we actually didn't. Plenty of time left in the challenge!
My personal opinion of harder ones left:rodent on cover
rabbit on cover
title has an exclamation mark
and recommendations from other teams
Oh, and the character of legend task. I think that one seems hard.
He's definitely not a major character in that one. Does it need to be major? It just says a character representing Death. But I still want to read the Charley Davidson series, so we should be covered for that task either way.
Beth wrote: "I started reading Equal Rites and Death as a character shows up on page 8."Oh, that's true! I had already slotted it before I read it so I forgot to go back and change the task. But if you are reading Equal Rites as well then we can use it for that.
Mary C wrote: "If anyone has wanted to start the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones, the MC is the Grim Reaper so works for task 93. I've read the whole series. It's really good if you like urban fantasy. ..."
I've been meaning to try that series, Mary! I think I have the first book downloaded already, so I can take that one.
I worked on the spreadsheet a bit, but I'll finish up tomorrow.Does anyone have a book where the MC is an educator? I just finished one but it also has 2 men on the cover with blue mountains, so we could use if for one of those tasks, too.
I’ll try to get our spreadsheet updated tomorrow morning. It’s been a long week and I haven’t gotten a ton of reading done but I’m finishing a couple tonight/tomorrow.
Great, Thea! We are putting completed books on our planning sheet. It’s here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Sophie, let me think of some books you might enjoy.
