Amara was perched on a bench in front of the fountain, surrounded by old yellowing books. The one she had in her lap was on anatomy, as were the others. Amara flipped through it, scanning each and every page. Her hair fell delicately over her left eye, her green right eye only being visible.
Andy scribbled down his name onto the pass. She ripped the yellow slip out of the pad and handed it to Marcus. "Here, just give this to your homeroom teacher or a teacher at the dorms." She said. "It's my ability, a form of telekinesis." She spoke, sending the final books into their places. The rest of the carts slid into a closet where they were kept, and Andy let out a sigh of relief after everything was in order. She really needed to get more sleep, using her abilities were tiring her out easier.
Do you want me to just post anywhere, or you could post first if you’d like! ((I probably wouldn’t respond for a few hours because it’s almost 1 am and I need to sleeeep))
“No, no it’s quite alright!” She spoke, grabbing a pen from a cup sitting next to her. The small booklet of passes flew from atop a filing cabinet and onto Andy’s desk. “Name?” She asked, scrawling down Andromeda Williams onto the teacher signature line. Andy took another sip of her coffee, then set the cup gently back down onto her messy desk. A soft ding echoed throughout the library, as a small pop-up appeared onto her computer, showing that she received an email from the Headmaster.
The night librarian looked up, just now noticing that someone had entered the library. “Welcome, and yes, I’m alright.” She spoke. Andy brushed a lock of hair out of her face, then decided that it was time to put it up. Her hair began to tie itself into a bun, her hands still on the coffee cup. Andy glanced over at the clock, and noticed that it was later than she expected. “Do you have a pass?” She asked. It would have been fine if there wasn’t one, but she just wanted to make sure. Due to the increase in dark energy emitting from the forest, the school wanted to ensure safety and make sure that they knew where students were at all times. Another cart rolled over to Andy’s side, and one by one, the books floated to their proper spaces on the towering bookshelves.
Anyone? I’ve posted In the library if anyone would like to rp there, or I also have another character, Amara, if anyone would like to RP?
“Blah..” groaned Andy, after downing her third cup of black coffee. The pod holder opened up on her Keurig and the used pod floated out and fell into the trash. A new pod quickly floated over and shoved itself into the pod holder and the lid closed. Then, the water began to pre-heat until it was boiling inside. Andy paused for a moment, as her cup quickly shot over and landed under the Keurig. The buttons began to push themselves, and Andy sighed as the scent of coffee wafted through the air. A metal book cart rolled over to her desk, and Andy quickly scanned the books. One by one, they floated over to their bookshelves and slid right in. All over the library, hundreds of books were being put back into place. Andy sniffled a little bit, and a tissue quickly floated over and landed in her waiting hand. She wiped her nose, and frowned at the small blood stain on it. Her abilities did take a strain on her body, although it was rare for this to happen. It must be because of her lack of sleep. She usually slept through the day, but they needed her in the forest to patrol the energy emitting from it. Andy yawned and tossed the tissue into the trash. A few seconds later, she took a sip of her coffee, that had floated over immediately after she was done.
