I too took a little while to connect with FMC, but as I read the serial, not too long.Glad there will be another book, we need to see what happens next!!
I get too many interruptions from hubby now he's retired, so its Slow & Steady for me, and I'll try to post my final stats this time :D

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get her newsletters, and if anything, I'd say she overshares. I don't need to know about how much an audiobook costs to make and how she decides which book to write depending on its cost/benefit ratio.
Don't get me wrong, I love 99.9% of what she writes, I love the OTTness of her characters, but do I need all the author troubles, NOPE.
I get especially peeved when authors don't update their own website!!!!!Being a GR librarian I often go to author's websites, and you'd be surprised how many have been abandoned or just way out of date.
Just finished Legion and gave it 4 stars.Sad its the last one, but hopeful, we may get to revisit all the babies in the future.
For the Nora Roberts' books, I read them from the library, certainly wouldn't buy them.Whereas, I buy the In Death books, either 2nd hand, or lately I've been buying the kindles, when they're on special :D
I've read The Guardian's Trilogy, first book
&
5 stars and have several more of hers I haven't read yet.
I also much prefer her In Death books, I've read maybe half a dozen or so of her own name books. And Don't Even Think It let alone write that. The Universe can read.
