I'm reading It's a re-read, actually, but it's been so long since I read it the first time, and I want to continue the series I thought it best to go ahead and re-read this. I'm glad I did because there's so, so much that I had forgotten.

I was starting to feel the same way, Pamela. I'm reading and it started getting so, so slow that I considered dumping it for something else, but none of the other books on my challenges sounded good. Then P&P&Z picked up again, thankfully.

Yep! That was one of the first things I found funny about it. Then the song they sane whilst Elizabeth played the pianoforte while Jane was ill and they were at... oh drat! I can't think of the name of the place right now. Started with an N.

Carolyn, I read those books and wow. They were very hot, but parts freaked me out. LOL

Carolyn, so far I'm enjoying it. It's such dry humor, in fact, not supposed to be humorous at all, but I can't help but laugh at the way the zombies are incorporated into the story.

Yep! I LOVE that!!! In Julie Garwood's highlander novels, the heroines were like that, but they were so funny about it, too.

Yep! It doesn't matter what they're wearing, be it a kilt, a cowboy hat or a soldier's uniform, I can just imagine them standing there with this baffled, stunned look on their faces thinking... What's wrong with her? Why isn't she obeying me?

This isn't exactly relevant to the question, but I like it when the Alpha is all caveman, beating his chest that he's in charge, etc., only to have the woman not cooperate and the Alpha is then dumbfounded. There's just something really, really funny about that, to me anyway.
