No updates from Goodreads, again. This is getting really, really old.I'll see my kids and grandkids Christmas day. Nothing fancy. My in-laws will be at my daughter's the next day, so my family (sans Moi) will be there.

That's awesome! I wish I had gotten my kids more involved in sports and things. It wasn't until home schooling that I really tried to do that. For the rest of my life I'll wonder if taking them out of school was the right thing to do or not. :(
I was always overprotective, too. I don't know if it was good or bad for the kids. Then I ended up home schooling, and tried harder to find ways for them to be out of the house and with other kids. I'm only speaking for myself here, but I think that always having my kids with us, never taking any real time for each other on a regular basis, really damaged our marriage. We were too young and too poor to have a honeymoon, both worked full time until our daughter was 4, then when I could stay home, she did everything with us. We should have take time - weekends away - to focus on each other. I don't know... maybe it wouldn't have mattered at all. My husband has issues with certain things... but I'll always wonder.
Ah, Pammy (that's what I call my BFF, Pam, when she's feeling down) Ah, Pammy... I'm sorry about this. What a disappointment. Is it possible to send your daughter to a friends house for some play time (for her and for you and hubby) or family for an overnighter?
Angels We Have Heard On High and The Messiah are some of my favorites. I love Oh Holy Night when done well.
It isn't Christmas without A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation! I also LOVE The Muppet Christmas Carol
Well, I won't tar and feather you for not liking it. I like you too much for that! *whispers* Hey everyone, hear that? Pamela didn't like Lord of Scoundrels! But don't tell her I told you.
I've seen the list and actually liked everything that I've read. LoS is one of my very favorite books!
Just a few - - Sarah MacLean (Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake), Pamela Clare (Ride the Fire, Naked Edge), Jennifer Ashley (The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie), Julie Garwood (The Secret, The Prize, For the Roses) JR Ward (Lover Awakened, Father Mine: Zsadist and Bella's Story), Loretta Chase (Lord of Scoundrels), Anna Campbell (Claiming the Courtesan), Judith McNaught (Whitney, My Love, A Kingdom of Dreams), Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game)
See, I only have a few on my keepers shelf, but that's because it's relatively new. Anything 4 stars or higher would probably be keepers, and especially 5 stars.
I watched PowerPuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Courage, Dexter's Lab... come to think of it, Dexter's Lab was pretty funny.
Said Keeper Fairy would go MIA, with nothing left to betray her existence other than a feather or 2. Or 1/2.
