Dani’s comments from the Alice group.

"We've almost been killed-"

"And we've chased all sorts of scary things-"

"But you two..."

"Make us want to run away screaming."

((Oh. Sorry. I read something wrong.))

Both boys started turning red, Dee especially.

"Are you gonna run away now?" asked Dum.

"Please don't," pleaded Dee.

"We tend to say what's on our minds."

"And that was what we were just thinking about."

((Shut up.))

Both boys were smiling at the girls. "You're pretty," they both said. "Crap! Did we say that out loud?"

((Dee asked Terrath. Not Dum.))

The boys were nervous wrecks, Dee especially, but were the picture of cool on the outside.

"Great!" They offered the girls their arms again.

"Do you guys wanna go on the roller coasters?" they both asked.

"So, um, what do we do now?" asked Dee.

"Yeah..."

"Awesome!" He looked up.

"Deal." He held his hand out.

"We'll try not to run away too."

"Really?"

"I'm really sorry." He took the jacket and put it back on.

Dum did the same. "Are you guys gonna leave now?"

"Sorry I scared you," he said, staring at the ground. He held out his hand to take the jacket.

"Yeah. There's no need to be nervous. We're just as nervous around you guys..."

"I wish they weren't so nervous around us."

"They're girls, Dee."

"They have our jackets," said Dee.

"I know. Maybe they'll come back!"

Both boys decided to wait for the ride to reach the ground before getting off.

"I totally blew it. She'll never date me now..." Dee said, sighing.

"Just when I thought she was starting to like me..." said Dum.

"Listen, I really like you, and you're really pretty, and I think you're really awesome, and would you like to go on a date with me?"

"Did I say something stupid? I do that on occasion."

"You're welcome. Hey, are you okay?"

He was either going to not say anything or tell her the whole story to her. He chose to stay quiet.

"Oh." He fell quiet. Now what do I do?!

"You and your sister are really cool."

"That's so cool!"

This made him nervous again. "Do you want me to talk more? I can talk more! I'm normally pretty quiet. Dum is the one who likes to talk..." He started to babble.

He nodded and smiled back. What do I do now?

"Yeah... That's not really fair."

He grinned back at her, throughly enjoying the conversation. "Yeah, probably! There aren't all that many girl body guards, though..."

Dee was slowly growing less nervous around Terrath. "You're great."
