Dee was pretty nervous too, and suddenly became very interested in the table.Dum relaxed, waiting for the ride to really start. "Are you okay, Tanith?"
"Me too, please." Dum, on the other hand, was totally oblivious to anything being wrong.

The safety bars had pushed them together a little bit. This scared Dum, but he knew he couldn't get out now."Ladies first," he told Terrath.
"Okay!" Dee ran in after her.He hopped into the seat next to her. "Here we go!"
She'll be all alone! With me! Maybe I can hold her hand while we're on the roller coaster... "Cool. Hey, the train's here."
"Oh. That's okay."He took a deep breath. "Mmmm... That smells good."
"Oh-kay... Is your sister afraid of heights?""I don't know. Lady's choice?"
"Okay!" He smiled, glad that he wouldn't be dragged onto that roller coaster."Hey, where'd Dee and Terrath go?"
"Can we stay on the ground then?""And we're next!"
Ohmigodshe'sholdingmyhand! "Do you want to?"He started laughing to, not noticing that the others weren't following them.
"Let's go before the line gets really long!" he cried, dragging Tanith with him to the ride."I'm scared, okay?"
"I wonder how fast it goes!"Dee looked over at Terrath. "Yeah," he whispered back, "I'm fine," he said while shaking his head.
"There's one right over there!" said Dee. It was really tall. This scared Dee a lot."Cool! Look how high up that goes!"
Dee looked confused too. "I dunno.""Roller coaster," said Dum.
"Oh yeah!"
"Oh," said Dum.
"Well, we just sorta assumed..." said Dee.
"I don't know," said Dum."Me either. You're both girls!"
"Why don't you know?!"
"You know, female intuition?"
"Yeah," said Dum, smiling. Dee was quiet again.
The four had stopped walking.
