Dani’s comments from the Alice group.

Dee had gotten through his cage, but before he could get out, another person came up behind that. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," he whispered. He looked fairly normal but... But instead of two eyes he had only one. And it was huge and blue.

Dum felt a hand on his shoulder. "Child," said a female voice, "Calm down. I can help you. We can help you." Her hair was sky blue, but other than that she seemed normal.

"LET ME OUT!"

Dee was almost through the cage again.

"HEY!" yelled Dum, hammer on his cage door. "LEMME OUT!"

Dee had already started work on trying to escape the cage again, as quietly and unnoticeable as possible.

The boys backed into the cage.

The boys broke out of the cage and looked around. "Anyone gonna come and face us?!" they yelled.

He grinned, and ran over to help his brother.

Dum set her back down. "Will you please help your sister? Oh, and will you be my girlfriend?"

He grinned. "I'm gonna get us out of these cages!" He started off where Dum had left off. They were almost through the wall of the cages.

Dum grinned. "You're not mad at me for doing that, are you?"

Dee wasn't all that surprised. "Terrath, will you be my girlfriend?"

Dum continued to kiss her, happy with himself.

Dum didn't particularly enjoy being jealous, so he walked over to Tanith, swept her off her feet (literally), and kissed her.

Dee and Dum, having gone to an all boys school and no chance for breaks, hadn't had their first kisses either, except now Dee had and Dum was uncharacteristically jealous.

Dum looked over at Tanith and pondered kissing her. He decided against it and tried to break the cage again.

Dee quit kissing her. "Please don't die," he whispered.

I'm kissing her... This is nice... thought Dee.

ICAN'TBELIEVEHEKISSEDHER!

He leaned down and kissed her.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT! thought Dum.

"I really like you," he said again. "Please don't die."

Dum was still working on the cage.

"You're awake!" He hugged her again. "And you hear the last bit of what I just said, didn't you?"

Dee hugged Terrath. "Please wake up. I really like you."

Dum tried to get them out of the cage and go rescue Raven to no avail.

"Okay," said Dum.

Dee was crying. "Please..."

Dum hugged Tanith. "We're gonna be fine."

"PLEASE!" he cried, still shaking her.

Dee remember this and started to shake Terrath even more. "Please! Wake up! I like you!"

Dum gave his brother a look. I can't believe you just said that. "Tanith, are you okay?"
