Hatter sighed. This was a battle he wasn't going to win. "Just try not to stay out too long."

Dee continued to run after her. "Please, Terrath!"

"I promise I'll keep you safe and I'll kill that stupid cat."

"At least let me come with you, Raven," said Hatter.

Dee took off at full speed behind his girlfriend.

Dum didn't care. He hugged her anyway. "I love you so much..."

Dee ran after Terrath. "No, Terrath, come back!"

Dum cried and cried. "Please... You can't die..."

Hatter chased after his sister. "Raven, don't go. You need to stay here."

Dum continued to hug Tanith tightly, still crying. He wanted nothing bad to ever happen to her. Why couldn't it have been him instead?!

Dee walked into the room and saw his brother. He didn't totally understand the situation, so he stood back and watched.
