Thanks for mentioning this. I generally like her books:)

On the reading front I am doing silly KU books and haven't really found anything substantial to read for the last few weeks. Maybe now that all the Christmas stess is over I can settle down and do a series reread or something.

I just got the notification. Lights! Camera! Mayhem! I was able to buy it for kindle (they also have it on audible)

I am at the point were I am really in the mood for some hallmark-y christmas romances. Anyone have any suggestions for books or Netflix movies?
I tried a couple KUs but they were a bit more down and dirty and I really would like sweet and swoony.

TINNGG, hope all goes well for your sis.
Wishing you all the best in such stressful times

Not quite yet, but there is potential.

On the lighter side i listened to Never Been Witched , I still have a soft spot for Molly Harper read by Amanda Ronconi. This is the third in a series and only in audible right now
and included with plus ' I think. It was cute and a good wrap up for the final witch in a coven of ghost wranglers. I was glad to see her finally standing up for herself.
Now i need another light listen, since I've been sidelined with a sprained ankle from a sidewalk fall - luckily i finished in the grass and not on the cement so I just got my ankle and a skinned knee and not my elbow and wrist

"The Wild Robot"
It had amazing animation and reminded me a bit of "wall-e"
Then I took my reading inner child to the library and got the..."
Happy Birthday:) we saw the Wild Robot too, and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice feel good movie. (A little bit of a contrast from what you are reading ;)

I totally get that. I am mostly sticking to the light side myself and have paused a few books that were too stressful. I wish I had a great light and funny read that I could rec for you as a cleanser, but I am drawing a blank.

Also there is a new Rachel Aaron book out today in her hell for hire series Hell of a Witch It's set in a different world from her DFZ nice dragon books, but the first was good.
Also out today is Wished it is the final book her ghosted series. I was lucky to get it as an ARC. I liked the different magic foundations for each romance. This one has a cleaning lady wishing to be married to the boss who never noticed her. I like magical elements in my romance and the leading lady is a very sweet person.

Twyla is a 52 year old Taneian Marshal. She is a magical police officer who patrols with her neighbor and best friend, Frank.
She has lots of ad..." This was cute. The bit with Hart and mercy was very sweet.

Me too! I love the audio version and I hope for more of them too. I did think though that Lady Amelia wasn't quite the same character as in the other series- or I made incorrect assumptions - i thought she was older and a bit more alcoholic. The way she is here is better.

I really liked book 1 and 2 in the Dark Sons MC series. An outlaw biker club, each book is a different couple.
Sadly, after the amazin..."
Oh, i haven't read oracle moon in a while it was my favorite of the series.

I've finished all the Murderbot books - a new favorite series! That hasn't happened in a long time! I'll definitely reread those...."
Did you see that a murderbot TV series is in production set to come out next year? On apple tv though. We don't have that. :)
