Noted.I've got 6 clicks and 1 sale that may be linked. However, the adverts have been running for less than a week. It's too soon to know anything other than the one that automatically generated keywords isn't worth anything.
I was just going to run the ads until they withdraw the service. So far I owe them 53p for 6 days. I can manage that. It'll be interesting to see if the product display ad does what it's supposed to.
I don't suppose there's any way to tell if the sale I had at the weekend was as a result of the adverts. The adverts say no, but if their reporting is that bad, how do we really know?Oh and I have a logo now, just so I could do a product display interest ad. It wouldn't let me submit the advert without a logo. (Rolling eyes as I type...)
People used to say I packed a lot into my day. I think they were correct at the time. I'm lagging behind a bit now. I'm going to make a coffee then I'm going to write a Medium article on how good I am at promotion #Sarcasm. Oh and show everyone my logo lol.
I don't know how you do it. I've just spent a good part of the morning faffing around trying to create a logo so I can use another type of Amazon advert. Not to mention trying to think of a 50 character headline for the book. Seriously, a logo. I need coffee.
How do you manage the time with all these things? I’m finding it difficult to fit everything in. I’m not sure I can take another one on and do everything else.
I noticed a similar thing last week when I set the adverts up. One of the others has now started to produce impressions. Two more to take effect. So far I am not at risk of becoming bankrupt!
Just how does one lose a click? I only had 6 to start with. Now I have 5. Am I to assume that these Amazon reporting systems are not accurate? (Rolls eyes.)
6574 impressions and 6 clicks. So pretty average. That's on my own list so far. No sales, but it's only 6 clicks. They've processed one out of the three lists you created for me. So we'll see what happens with them in a few days. Thank you very much for those. I hadn't heard of the majority of the books and authors in there.
I have yet to put my my interest ad because it requires me to write a headline and I haven't a clue. I need to read the book and see if there are any suggestions in there.
The margins and gutters etc are why I used the templates. But it did take some fiddling this time round. I am so pleased I don’t do illustrations!
I managed the templates ok. It was my D2D graphics I had problems with. But it looked good in the end.
My second ad with my own keywords has had 2047 impressions and one click. The one click was generated by the word “books” from Amazon’s original list. I’m amused by the general nature of the keyword.
It reminds me of a scout fair I did. I was selling hand-made candles. They stationed me next to the make-your-own-candle table. I made so many to sell. I've probably still got them and this was years ago. I sold one, and I think I sold that because someone took pity on me.
Excellent thanks. djcooperwrites@gmail.com should get to me. (Why do I have so many email addresses?-It's ridiculous.) No rush, though, in your own time. I won't get to anything now until next week-and even then-I'm not in a rush.
