Raising children is hard. There’s no instructional manual, and although there are a lot of self- help books out there, none of them seem exactly right for you and yours. Just when you get them able to stand on their own, you have to send them out into the world and hope to hell that what they learned from you, the backbone you’ve instilled, will carry them forward. You wouldn’t send them out defenseless.
