189072 This story will haunt me for a long time. It was a wonderful read, written with intelligence and sensitivity. I so hated Amir at the start, by how he treated his so-called best friend. But by the end, I was rooting for his redemption.
This was historical fiction at its best. I look forward to reading A Thousand Splendid Suns very soon.
