I have a soft spot for Brienne. There is nothing I can find to make me dislike her. But the way you put it I guess you are right! And I think she has already started changing. Jaime is the reason for this. But you have to admit it. Trust is not an easy thing after what she has seen. And let's be honest, rape is the hobby of almost every male Westerosi.

It's all about the consequences of what happened in book 3. BTW I miss Tyrion. :(

I have all the books but not yet read any of them. I have no idea what the series is even about really. I live ..."
You are lucky! It's also a bit of a risk. Tolkien's books are peculiar. You will either hate them or love them!

Victarion's chapter. Well I had to read this twice. I found it a bit difficult and boring. No wonder they left out this character from the series. I still feel that Martin provides background info, sort of presenting the aftermath of the bloody weddings or perhaps preparing us for what comes next. These chapters are very difficult for me. I keep struggling between names and try not to miss the important stuff.

"...Sailors from the city. They speak of dragons." Cercei chuckled.
Oh just wait Cercei. It won't be long now. Winter is almost here.

Leslie (Basesloaded32) wrote: "Oh but I still like her."Let's face it. Her chapters are the best. The most interesting. Her thoughts and words are pure poison. I wish there had been a Joffrey chapter. That would have been something.

-"Oh look your brave brother has returned, Your Grace"-"Most of him."
....
"Get out. I'm sick of looking at that ugly stump of yours"
She is unbearable. Really. Jamie be a sweetheart and please kill her... What I hate the most is this obsession with Tyrion and her desire to see him dead. Now that I think about it is there any person apart from Tommen she wishes to keep alive???

Why did they switch the babies?????

Regarding the spoiler: Yes, I think so too. That must have been him. Which makes me so curious because we never saw that in the series and I suspect a major twist towards the end of the book.

Even though informative I find the Dorne chapters rather dull. I'm trying to pay close attention though, because I'm sure Martin writes them for good reason

Leslie (Basesloaded32) wrote: "Any idea what they mean by "soiled night"? I really don't understand the title."I'm not sure either. I had to read this chapter twice. I think that it means Arys is dishonored since he sleeps with Arianne instead of doing his duty (protect Myrcella). He wears the white so he is not supposed to sleep with women. But he gives in temptation so he is no longer "The honorable knight".

When in comes to Cercei he is blind..How can he be in love with such an awful person? I still can't believe he pushed Bran off the tower.

That part made me feel sick...

I would really like to read a chapter told from littlefinger's perspective. Just one. Most of the times I'm positive he loves only himself and no one else. Until I read these chapters and I start wondering..Did he ever love Cat? Is he in love with Sansa??
