He is my favourite! Period. I've arleady decided to rate this book 5 stars just because of Tyrion. He is a leader, he is gallant and highly intelligent! Lionhearted and compassionate! I really hope Martin keeps this one alive. I won't be able to read another page knowing there won't be any more of his witty comments.

I think he fears that nobody will believe him... And what use is it if he tells the truth? The Lannisters will claim he is a traitor like his father and they will propably go after him too. They are already after his brother Robb. Ned tried to tell the truth, Stanis tried to tell the truth.. They are just too strong, their roots go deep and their alliances are strong.

I have the same question..."three mounts must you ride...one to bed and one to dread and one to love..." Do the voices refer to things Dany has already experienced or things that haven't happened yet??? I think she has already experienced love and perhaps dread... Does this mean she is ready to become Queen of Westeros?

Why doesn't Melisandre send this evil shadow son of Stanis to kill Joffrey??

I love him... So clever!! What he does in this chapter proves that he is the brightest of all. Tactics is his middle name! He should rule!!!

God awful Balon Greyjoy....Poor Theon, after all these years feeling inferior, feeling a stranger, longing for some praise and waht does he get??? His sweet father's accusations... As if it were his fault.

Stannis is such a cold man..He seems to be the rightful heir to the throne so far... but I really hate the fact that he relies completely on the Red Lady..And the way he talks about his brother Renly, or even Ned Stark the very man who died suporting his right to the throne... Ohhhhh I really don't like Stannis..

I thought I was the only one feeling a bit baffled..I found this chapter rather confusing too. George never introduces one character at a time. I had to read a few parts twice.. but I didn't mind. I do this quite often but i think this is only because English is not my mother language.

So glad I have joined this group! I love reading books but none of my friends enjoy reading.. I'm happy to have found people I can discuss books I love with!

I just loooove Tyrion!!! the best chapters are the ones with Tyrion...

I'm currently reading the 2nd book and I have watched the series (all 5 seasons) but I can't see any differences in the plot.. Of course the books are much better in my opinion. I have heard that the TV series plot deviates a lot from the book storyline.. Am I missing something??
