I'm a little confused why they all focused on how else that guy may have been bleeding... "a sign of wroth and ruin" - could there be a plague/sickness of sorts?

I'm starting to dislike Dany's chapters more and more. She used to be a favorite character!

That's crazy that Ghost wouldn't respond to him. Melisandre is seriously creepy and does things that I have no idea what they are. lol

I wonder if what she says actually comes to pass.

Is it because of the Dothraki that the statues have no heads? Or wouldn't they simply take the whole statue.

I wonder how he knew that Tyrion would go to that specific brothel, or was it just luck?

This group of people is where I keep getting the most confused - not gonna lie.

Since I didn't re-read parts that I read prior to putting this down for a few months, this chapter was a bit confusing for me at first. Everything started to sort of come together, but I'm not sure I like where it's going. I do think Tyrion is really smart and it'll be interesting to see what impact he has on the prince.

It'll really be intersting seeing how Jon's plan plays out. He's definitely taking some big risks on many different levels.

Oh snap! I was pretty sure it wasn't really Arya but it's nice to kind of see what happened to Sansa's friend Jeyne. I do worry for her though.

It's crazy how Davos is telling the truth, but no one believes him because of what they are told by higher ups/the masses (except for sassy young Wylla lol).

Ria - as soon as I finish Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban I'll be diving back into this one as well so you won't be alone in discussing it! I think I may read the comments in the chapters I've already finished and go from there. I may go back a couple chapters, but we'll see!

I think I got like 15-20% done before I put it down last year. I'm not sure if I'll pick up exactly where I left off or if I'll just start from the beginning.

I'm still waiting to start. I'm also reading American Gods, but will be reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban before jumping back to ADwD.

Not currently, but I plan on picking it back up in the new year.

I'm with you Leslie- I'm planning on reading A Dance with Dragons in 2017 instead. I really needed a break. lol

Definitely trying to mix things up! I have some historical fiction, sci fi, and contemporary planned as well. lol
