Oh I feel so bad for everyone out east this winter. You got slammed with a ton of snow. We barely had much here. I've seen pictures and commercials of the east coast and it looks gorgeous, plus all the seafood!! I'm a seafood fanatic lol. :)

I don't think I could ever afford to live on the west coast like Vancouver. A trip out east is a definite once I start working and save up some money. :)

I would to visit out east! My stepdad is from Newfoundland but I've never been there.
Lol Jonetta, just one letter off the abbreviation!

Erin, I'm from AB.
I don't have Starz but thankfully Showcase is airing the series. I've read the first 2 books ages ago. Details are vague for me so I'm enjoying the series as is. It's daunting how long each book is but I'll read them eventually.

Lol Erin, I'm in the same boat!

Jonetta: I can't wait to see what you think of The Others series. It's completed different from anything I've read, very creative and original.
1. Did you complete any series this month?I completed Barefoot Bay Brides trilogy by
Roxanne St Claire2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?I started Psy-Chageling series with the first book
Slave to Sensation. Definitely will continue.
3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?I'm caught up in the Southern Comfort series by
Lisa Clark O'Neill, The Others series by
Anne Bishop as well as In Death series.
Moved forward with Bullet Catcher series, am on book 4 which I hope to get to this month.
4. Any standout or 5 star book5 stars standouts
Murder of CrowsVision in SilverSlave to SensationThey all had great writing with immense world building, plus really likeable characters and well thought out plots/storylines.

I agree Lauren! That would've been a really great direction to take. Especially with his sister too.

I finished this one just now. It was an okay read for me (3 stars), the plot and motive was kind of weak hiding under the pretense of the fantasy kidnapping website. I liked Sage and Johnny. Too many characters took away from the actual mystery of the plot rather adding on to make you guess who's behind what.

Monica, the most recent ep ended with a cliffhanger. And it also has
(view spoiler)[a creepy scene with flashlights (hide spoiler)].

I'll start this today. :)

Yay, another Castle and HTGAWM fan. Empire is another show I need to watch. It has good music so that should be an automatic draw for me. I have to watch it online though, haven't been recording it.

I'm just glad there are new shows to hold me over until my other ones return.

Anyone else watching American Crime? It's taking the time slot of HTGAWM and I watched the encore ep last night. A new ep is on tonight. It's actually really well done. It's not a show you usually see on ABC. Lots of social issues being addressed, things you see in the news these days.

You were so right! I finally got around to watching the last 5 minutes. Major twist!"I watched the recent ep this week and
(view spoiler)[Ben ousted the one friend who knows all his secrets. His behaviors are so sketchy! (hide spoiler)]

@Monica: I think Juliette Lewis's character was written to not be liked by people. She has that hard personality like there's a stick up her butt for lack of a better description. She's very focused on going after the dad from the 2 eps I've seen. I haven't decided whether I like her or not.
You have to watch that last 5 minutes. It's very crucial in the plot. :)

I hope you all watch so we can discuss! :) I'm going to try and catch it weekly but I also have it recorded in case I miss a night. There's two eps out so far.
@jonetta: I have 4 or 5 shows waiting for me on my DVR that I have to even start watching lol (Gotham, Agent Carter, The Flash, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D).
Another crime show I like is coming back for a new season, Motive. I like the spin they put on the show to reveal the killer in the beginning and work their way back.

There's a new show that I just started watching called
Secrets and Lies. It's pretty good so far. Jogger finds a young boy's body in the woods then become the suspect in the case. The jogger is a dad (Ryan Phillipe) whose marriage is struggling with 2 kids. There's a big revelation at the end of the first ep that boosts the mystery and motive to another notch. The guy is also quite hotheaded and quick to act before he thinks. The detective on the case is pretty hardcore too played by Juliette Lewis. Going to be interesting how it plays out.

Yep I'm good for going forward with Bullet Catcher book 3. :)

Me too! I actually rewinded and watched a few times, that scene was SO good.
