Jonetta wrote: "I think I'll skip the two remaining in the queue and just watch that one. Call it a day."That's what I'm doing. The magic that is Castle and Beckett was gone this season so i hope they salvage some of it in this finale.
Jonetta wrote: "The Castle series finale is tonight."Tonight might be its highest rating thus far this season. Too bad it's also the last.

I've been following The Family, and Game of Silence as my new shows. I know ABC cancelled The Family as well but it'll be interesting to see how they play it out to the end. I can't imagine the storyline working beyond season 1 unless there was a cliffhanger so I will have to wait and see.

The fan base went rabid after ABC fired Stana Katic and Tamala Jones based on budget cuts, but hired back all the male actors. Which in my opinion was a bunch of horses**t. Stana deserved much better than that. I stopped watching season 8 pretty much 3-4 eps into the season. The storyline was convoluted, didn't explain anything and introduced new characters and Castle turning into a P.I. Instead of being a writer following his muse. Sad the show lost its charm. So I'm not surprised nor saddened to see it cancelled.

Thanks Kris! I surely will.

Me too! Love Natalie and Zach's story! They're my favorite couple next to Marc and Sophie.

I finished
and here's
my review. I'm starting book 3 right away too.

Yay. Glad you got it working now Lauren! Happy listening. :)

Unless Netflix Canada has different selections from US?

Really? I just watched it 2 days ago. Try the search function? It has Charlize Theron in the preview picture.

I didn't like any of the characters so that seems like a trait for her books. I think the revelation wasn't as terrible as I was expecting so it lacked the impact.

I still catch up on Outlander!!
On another note, Netflix now has Dark Places, movie based off Gillian Flynn's novel. I read the book ages ago so hardly recall the details. Watched it and if I were to rate it, it'd be 2.5-3 stars. It didn't have the oomph factor that Gone Girl had.

Yup, it is. I even start listening to it and then as soon as I'm out of range, it stops ..."I'm not sure then. Because once it's downloaded 100% to your device, you should be able to use it without wifi. Have you tried contacting their tech support?

That's strange. Is the audiobook completely downloaded before you disconnect from wifi area?

It's a neat app, you can borrow books, audiobooks, music, movies.
Crystal, I borrow lots too, I only buy certain autobuy authors like NR/JD Robb, JR Ward (BDB series), plus a few other authors.

My local library has rentals through an app called hoopla and I've been getting some audiobooks from there. Only thing is, I'm only allowed 5 rentals a month so I have to be picky what I want. Though that limit would still work for me considering my poor schedule time.

Lol I'm so behind on my reading schedule now that I do shift work. I can't sit long to read books like I used to as well. There's TV to catch up on, I want to get back to drawing. I think I might have to look into more audiobooks when I feel the urge to sit and draw for a long time. Multitask lol.
