The television show "Alf" was an American sitcom series that aired on NBC from September 22, 1986 to March 24, 1990.
ALF is a friendly (yet sarcastically funny) extraterrestrial character who crash lands in the garage of the Tanner family.

Read a book in which the author's initials can be found in the character name.

Welcome to the challenge, Tien!
However the author is listed here on Goodreads, that's the way you will make the separation.
So yes, you would count this as two different authors even though it's the same person doing the writing.
Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb would be counted as two different authors....as would J.K. Rowling and Robert Galbraith

I was just thinking of the difficulty of the higher numbers, but I'll go back now and clarify the combining issue in the guidelines.
