Think about it: your book is a part of many different genres! What genres is your book? Why?

I am reading Flowers for Algernon. My book is science fiction and it also explores social issues Science Fiction: This book is about a man named Charlie who was born with an unusually low IQ. He has been chosen to be a test subject for an experimental surgery that will hopefully increase his intelligence.
Social Issue: This book touches upon many different ethical and moral themes such as the treatment of the mentally disabled. As Charlie’s IQ level increases he realizes that many people only liked him being around them because they felt smarter and better then him, his low intelligence made others feel better about themselves.
