Yeah, I was kind of assuming that they'd put some sort of mental block into play, but you're right. That aspect of the book was incredibly irritating at times.
XD Meli, I'm sorry, but your "This isn't a friendship, it's a spaceship" subtitle cracks me up every time I see one of your posts.
Oh, the movie... I think it would maybe have made an okay PARODY of an actual movie for the series...
I saw this before I read the books. (So pro, CJ, so pro) It was pretty good. I read the books, after, because the movie had been good.
I re-watched the movie, because now it would be better, because I had read the books.
I was sorely disappointed. I hated the movie, then.
I was in school. I was flipping back and forth, then I understood, and I made this weird noise in my throat. Then, obviously, I looked around to see if anybody had noticed. My science teacher was *slightly* scared.
I loved how the ending played out. Everybody is going to make it.... and then an important character is killed off at the last minute. :D James Dashner... We seem to be on the same page for everything.
XD I liked this book even better than the first one. As soon as there were weird metal spheres eating people's heads off, I was sold. The whole betrayal thing was epic, too. XD
I read it. The series was okay. I literally was only reading because of Simon. Of course the bad stuff had to happen to him. I was angry that practically nobody died, though.
I forced my friends to read this book and then come to the movie with me. I gave them copies of the book and then told them I expected them to be finished with them by the next week and that was that. ...So yeah. Loved the book. XD
