Transformers: Beast Wars, Vol. 1 ★★A comic reboot of the old cartoon.
Tom Clancy's The Division: Remission ★★★Surprisingly this prequel to the video game was a European comic that Dark Horse brought to the states.
Petrograd ★★★A comic that explores Rasputin's assassination from the point of view of the conspirators. The book follows a British agent, Cleary, who has been tasked with talking a prince into murdering Rasputin.
Kingdom of Bones ★★★★When a new supervirus breaks out in the Congo, Sigma Force is brought in. All signs point towards it originating within the lost kingdom of Prestor John.
The House of Lost Horizons: A Sarah Jewell Mystery ★★An Agatha Christie inspired locked room murder mystery peripherally set in the Mignolaverse. Sounds like a natural fit but this was just boring and drawn out.
Tales From the Outerverse ★★★★Three shorter stories, two of which are fighting the Hexencorps, which are these terrifying, cannibal witches.
The Worst Dudes ★The Worst Dudes would be more appropriately titled The Worst Comic.
Radiant Black, Vol. 1 ★★★This falls into the normal schlub gets superpowers genre.
Avatar: The Last Airbender: North and South ★★★★The last of the Avatar: The Last Airbender continuations by Dark Horse.
Castaways ★★★Julio and Alejandra meet in Madrid and then 10 years later in Barcelona. The story alternates between the two time periods, differentiated through two monochromatic color palettes.
The All-Nighter ★★★This is about a vampire who is inspired to become a superhero. Once word gets out, other supernatural creatures become villains, using it as a loophole to appear in public without exposing monsterkind.
Compass, Vol. 1: The Cauldron of Eternal Life ★★★Full of adventure, a Compass is a Medieval James Bond and Indiana Jones rolled into one.
The Secret Land ★★★A Lovecraftian love story set at the end of World War II.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation ★★Even though this is a prequel, I think you may be better off watching the new cartoon first and then come back to this.
Black Hammer: Visions Volume 2 ★★★★Different creators write stories set in the Black Hammer universe ala Legends of the Dark Knight.
Julian in Purgatory ★★★Julian is your stereotypical, unabashed loser druggie. His girlfriend finally gets fed up and kicks him out. Julian never learns as he attempts to take advantage of everyone he knows.
Parasomnia ★★A half baked story of dream worlds and reality with a plot stolen from Dr. Sleep.
Snow Angels: Season One ★★A really basic story about a family being chased through a trench on an ice planet.
Reign of the Devourer: A Marvel: Untold Novel ★★★★A prose novel about Dr. Doom.
Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams ★Unlikable characters. Terrible art.
Children of the Woods ★★★Some solid horror about a loser teenager and the girl he loves becoming the next Children of the Woods.
Lewis Trondheim's The Fly ★★A wordless comic about a fly's life from its birth in a trash can up until its death. I know this is supposed to be goofy and fun, but I just found it tedious.
Pandemic (Green Class, #1) ★★★A by the numbers post-apocalyptic tale about some teenagers trapped within a walled city after a mutant plague breaks out.

Madman Library Edition Volume 2 ★★★★★Madman has had such a haphazard run of books over the last 30 years over a ton of publishers. It's awesome to have it all in one place. I love the ginchy nature of the series too.
The Amazing Screw-on Head and Other Curious Objects ★★★★★A bunch of oddball odds and ends from Mike Mignola. These wacky but macabre tales are great.
The EC Archives: Terror Illustrated ★★★Billed as Picto-Fiction, this EC collection isn't true comics but more illustrated prose.
Apocalypse Ahead (The Mythics, #3) ★★★A comic for kids about some children from around the world who inherit powers to battle evil. It's a decent setup for a kids' comic. The issue is that it's very repetitive.
Babyteeth, Vol. 4 ★★★★Donny Cates brings his story of a teenager giving birth to the Antichrist to a close. I absolutely loved this series.
Overwatch Anthology: Expanded Edition ★★★Collects all of the digital Overwatch comics since the game's launch.
Malika: Warrior Queen Volume 2 ★★★Part of a neat little superhero universe set in Africa.
Out of Body ★★★A man in a coma begins to have out of body experiences where he's helped by a psychic and his soul is pursued by a satanist.
Silver City ★★★This has a neat concept. It's about a purgatory that everyone goes to when they die that is kind of a dreary steampunk city.
Miles to Go ★★★★This was really good. It's about a mom who was trained to be a hitman at 13. Now a government agency has killed her mentor and is coming after her and her daughter.
Fearbook Club ★★The new kid in school keeps seeing ghosts in pictures he takes for the yearbook.
Phantom on the Scan ★★★Psychics find out they are dying from something that's in their head.
Project Patron ★★★What if Superman didn't return from the dead 30 years ago and the UN replaced him with a robot.
Bunny Mask: The Chipping of the Teeth ★★★A supernatural woman is released from a cave by a madman. She wears a bunny mask and kills criminals. Nice creepy vibe to it.
Hell Was Full ★A terrible comic strip with few punchlines and awful art. Couldn't even finish it.
Superman Smashes the Klan ★★★★★Not only an important message but a really cool idea. This is based on an actual Superman radio serial from 1946.
Jenny Zero ★★★The hard partying daughter of Ultraman inherits his powers.
The Girls of Dimension 13 ★★Steve Ditko era Dr. Strange crossed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer
God of War Volume 2: Fallen God ★★Pretty pointless.
Hyper Scape ★★Ready Player One without all the nostalgia. Based on a video game I've never heard of.
Falconspeare ★★A decent vampire story marred by overly busy, rudimentary art.
Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins: Caleb Widogast ★★★A really dark and depressing story of a young mage sent off to school where he was twisted into being a monster for the Empire before breaking free. Not bad, but also not as fun as other Critical Role comics.
Stranger Things: Erica the Great ★★Another inconsequential comic set in the Stranger Things universe.
The Witcher, Vol. 6: Witch's Lament ★★Vanessa Del Ray's awful, chicken scratch art ruins an interesting Witcher story.
The Rebels of Vanaheim: A Marvel Legends of Asgard Novel ★★★★Heimdall fights draugr in the latest Marvel prose novel set in Asgard.
