[close] Welcome, therapists! This group is intended to provide psychotherapists with a place to discuss the books they've read and loved, request recommendations for literature on specific clinical topics, and build a psychotherapist community around continual professional growth through reading. Please share your favorite books with other therapists by adding to our community bookshelf. Write on our Discussion Board to ask for reading recommendations, start a discussion on a particular book, or post a book review. You are welcome to post about books that are: 1. Related to clinical psychotherapeutic interventions and/or research 2. Related to themes relevant to psychotherapy (i.e. social justice and cultural competence) 3. Helpful to your own personal and professional growth regarding issues of self-care or countertransference 4. Meaningful reading recommendations for clients All psychotherapists - social workers, MFT's, counselors, psychologists, and even students - are encouraged to join this community :) Please spread the word...let's get reading!
