“ Our cruel and unrelenting Enemy leaves us no choice but a brave resistance, or the most abject submission; this is all we can expect - We have therefore to resolve to conquer or die: Our own Country's Honor, all call upon us for a vigorous and manly exertion, and if we now shamefully fail, we shall become infamous to the whole world. Let us therefore rely upon the goodness of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Ac ...more ”
“ May it [American independence] be to the world, what I believe it will be, (to some parts sooner, to others later, but finally to all,) the signal of arousing men to burst the chains under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves, and to assume the blessings and security of self-government. [close] Not long ago, I discovered that I am a direct descendant of a famous American Revolutionary soldier. His name is Peter Francisco. I also discovered that we stand the same height: 6 feet 6 inches. Few people know of him and his great achievements. Because of that, I embarked on a mission to resurrect his story with the hope that the world would come to know him once again as the Hercules of the Revolution. I'm happy to answer questions anytime about my connection to Peter, about my book and about his life in general. Thanks for stopping by!
