BETROTHED Reincarnated as a child aristocrat in another world, Ars Louvent wastes no time in using his "appraisal" skill to recruit promising talent to his side. With the swordsman Rietz, the mage Charlotte, and the bookworm Rosell as his new vassals, Ars begins to see real hope of turning his weak domain around. Yet, the flames of unrest are spreading throughout the empire, and Ars now finds himself facing a different kind of flame his fiancee!
It’s ok, but the artwork is not appealing to me, particularly Ars. Licia is cute, though I am curious why some of her words were shown in a different font - it made her seem sinister.
I think the main thing is that Ars is ridiculously ignorant and immature when it comes to noble life, despite having grown up in it. It just isn’t believable that he’s unable to control basic facial expressions and reactions. Everything is an “oh no!” moment to him. If his dad’s been sick, then more responsibility should have fallen on Ars already. Additionally, he seems to be unable to fight. Again, why hasn’t he been training all his life? I just find it unlikely, which in turn makes me question the world building.

It's really impressive how quickly the manga caught up to where the anime is at this moment. I think that next following will be new content so I'm very excited! This volume really focuses on developing into the main plot line. After the fiance or we have the beginnings of war and the beginning of our hero having to take over his dad. I do feel like this reminds me a little bit of one of my favorite game series, fire emblem. I wonder if that's intentional...
This is the 3rd book of the series. I really like how the story is progressing so far, There's so much happening in this volume. Licia is kinda weird to me but I'll let it slip for now.
