1 1/2 stars. I'm going to have to read the original story again, but to my memory, this graphic novel didn't do it justice at all. It was ok, but SOOOOO simplified! It was a disappointment.
I did like that the style of illustrations felt slightly vintage, in keeping with the era the stories were written. Many of the characters were well-drawn and there was some information boxes beyond dialogue to help orient the story.
