Last year the Lord gave a word to someone close to me that I needed to study Song of Solomon. I read it through one time and the main thing I learned was my own clear lack of comfort with that kind of intimate love from the King toward me. I didn't crack it open again until a different friend 6 months later said she felt like God was inviting me into greater intimacy and sent me the link to this book. I started it with almost a feeling of dread, like I was worried about disappointing myself. I started it but didn't get through it in the 31 days. Then I had experienced inner-healing ministry and the facilitator said, "I believe the Lord is saying He wants you to study Song of Solomon in The Passion Translation." I laughed and told her about this devotional I'd started but not completed. So, 134 days later I just finished, and I'm so grateful for this resource. It's a tool, but the real transformation came by Holy Spirit meeting me with each daily reading. I liked how there was a journal/note page at the end of each day to record your thoughts, prayers, etc. I have already recommended it to several friends.
