When a tree topples over onto Lillian’s prized 1948 Tucker Torpedo, these over-50 amateur sleuths are once again scrambling for money. Lucky for them, they have their choice of two cases, but which to take—a suspected art forgery or mysterious trash theft from the county landfill?

As usual, things aren’t as they first seem, and the women soon find themselves investigating by going undercover and dumpster diving to track down both bad guys.

Will they solve both cases in time to repair the Tucker before Lil finds out, or will their sleuthing take them down in the wreckage?

What can I say about such a wonderful book that won't spill the beans and spoil it for you? One of the most exciting things is something that is already revealed on the "back of the book". Lil finally gets out of prison! It was great seeing how she adjusted to being back on the outside. We learn more of Sera's history; and someone has a boyfriend! Oh, and there is also the pleasure of watching Maggie, Sera and Abby Ruth solve two mysteries! You DON'T want to miss reading this book. I highly recommend it!

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!

There is something fun about those grannies that are always solving mysteries. This is a wonderful book and seeing Lil get out of prison and try to adjust to the real world again. Or I guess I should say the world according to her.
Interesting to find out Sera has been keeping a big secret of her own. Oh and now someone has a boyfriend! Always fun spending time with Maggie, Abby Ruth, Sera, Lil and Teague.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I have read in the Granny Series and I absolutely loved it! Two skilled authors combine their talents in a well written storyline full of interesting and intriguing characters. There is mystery and secrets that unravel throughout this story. I look forward to reading more from these authors.

DNF-NO ONE who isn't southern can't do a southern accent. Most books I prefer as audios, but the "Miz Scah-lett" accent was WAY too distracting for this Tennessean!

The Grannies are Back!
I LOVE this series; this is the third book in The Granny Series by Kelsey Browning and Nancy Naigle. The grannies Lil, Sera, Maggie, and Abby Ruth are back and just as funny in this book as they were in the other books in this series. The grannies are still trying to get money to help Lil, they find themselves with two cases to investigate. It also doesn't help their money problems when a tree falls on Lil’s prized Tucker Topedo. When they find out that Lil is coming home, they need to get the car fixed before she gets there. This book can be read as a standalone, but I would encourage you to read the other books as well because they are wonderful. If you are looking for a fun and humorous book with southern charm, then you need to read this series. I can’t wait until the next book comes out.
A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I absolutely adore the Granny series and In High Cotton quickly became my favorite. The ladies are highly entertaining, quick witted, and just down right fun. It's so refreshing to read a book that involves mystery, a bit of drama, a dash of romance, and tons of comedy, and all coming from grannies. I highly recommend not only this book and the rest of the books in the series but all the books these lovely ladies write.

I was given an ARC for the purpose of leaving a honest review.

This is such a hilarious series and I really enjoyed reading about the antics of these grannies. Going undercover, diving into dumpsters to find clues - what fun these grannies have. Although it is not exactly a romance novel, it does include some romance scene. One of the grannies is starting to date - guess who? And part of Sera's secret is revealed in this story. Can't wait to read more about the antics and mischief that these grannies will get into.

Loved the 1st book—others were ok. NOT a fan of the self centered Lilly… Miss high and mighty.

What she expected of her best friend when she was gone was ridiculous and all she could do is complain when she came back.

Seems like she cared more for the house in the car than her friend.

Even though I am in their age range, they get in more trouble than anyone our age should. Sure is fun to read about their misadventures.

This series is just so entertaining. You can't help but fall in love with the characters and pick out yourself and your friends and family in them. Browning and Naigle pull out hilarious puns and sayings to help the older ladies get their point across. If the thought of a bunch of over fifty women banding together to solve mysteries isn't enough to get you to read it, throw in a little over-the-hill romance and one of the ladies getting all of herself behind a shelf to hide except for one boob that doesn't want to fit. These books are fast paced, easy to read and guaranteeeeed to bring a smile to your face!

I listened to the audio version. The narration by Pam Dougherty was delightful and the southern accents really added to the story.

I was gifted a copy of this audiobook. All thoughts are my own.

Maggie, Abby Ruth, and Sera are continuing to take care of the XXX estate while Lillian is in prison. It’s an expensive place to maintain, so when the manager of the local dump hires them to find out who’s breaking in and stealing things, they’re quick to take the job. They also become embroiled in another case when a local artist discovers that someone is selling copies of his metal sculptures. Meanwhile, Lillian discovers a way to get out of jail early - she pretends to suffer from arthritis and depression in order to get a compassionate release. But coming home isn’t quite what she expected. As with the earlier books, there were several laugh-out-loud moments, and ending was a surprise, along with a cliff hanger about one of the ladies.

This is the fourth book in the series, with the "Grannies" as they're called being accused of selling a piece of art that wasn't theirs, and helping one of the townspeople who believes someone is stealing from the county dump. The situations at times seem silly, but these are fun reads. In this book, Lil, the owner of Summer Haven returns home from an extended absence, so part of the story is about her adjusting to the changes that have taken place and wondering how she will fit in with this new group of friends.

Loved this 3rd book

The authors did a wonderful job on writing this 3rd book in the series. I got stressed when I thought Lil was truly going to give away her Daddy's vehicle due to bribery. Each book so far in this series has been great . I love the camaraderie of the friends and how they get the person.

Fun series with fun senior characters. I enjoy the multiple personalities in the series. With Lil getting out of jail you think everyone including her would be thrilled but the are some conflicts that need to be ironed out. It also doesn’t help that the friends are sleuthing again and are determined to find the culprit.

Lillian has been annoying this whole time. She’s too concerned with putting on a facade and keeping up appearances to really stop and think about how she’s being selfish and shallow.

The grannies solve another mystery with panache. They’re like the Golden Girls who also solve crimes.

Another fun mystery with Maggie and her gang. Lil has gotten out of prison early. What she finds at her home doesn't make her happy. She really expected to find everything just the way she left it. Maggie, Sera and Abby Ruth have been asked to look into a missing trash problem which means there is some dumpster diving in their future. Then an artist accuses Abby Ruth's daughter of stealing some of his art, so they really have to look into that. A woman is blackmailing Lil and Lil has her reputation to think of, so she doesn't want the grannies nosing around in other's business. It is hard to get used to being out of prison. Will they find the art forger and the trash bandit?

I loved this book. The grannies crack me up and remind me of some people I know. I love how each granny has a very distinct personality they are a diverse group yet some how they meld together really well. I still can not pick a favorite granny, I love them all for different reasons.
I love how resourceful Maggie is. That Granny can fix anything. And who knew how much of a gymnast/ dancer Sera would turn out to be? I love Abby Ruth's fire and spunk. I love that Lil is classy even in prison.
This book is the third in the series and had me turning the pages and trying to keep up with these busy grannies. In this book the Grannies have taken on two cases. One brought to them by Hollis and one they take on to prove to Colton that they did not sell the gift that he gave them. Lil has her own troubles in prison to deal with while the other Grannies are off to solve their cases. On top of all of that Sera, Maggie and Addy Ruth are trying to fix Lil's beloved car that was damaged during a storm. I will not go into detail since I hate spoilers, I will say that this book moves at a fast pace and is full of humor and is a well written mystery.
The characters are well developed and the scenes are always detailed enough to make you feel as if you are right there with the Grannies.
This book and the entire series is perfect for people who love a good mystery laced with humor with well developed characters and scenes. And trust me these Grannies will have you laughing and they will exhaust you, in a good way. Who knew Grannies could be so much fun while getting into so much trouble?

If the first two books in this series didn't have me laughing hard enough then this one tops them both! The Grannies are back and funnier than ever! Maggie, Sera, and Ruth are at it again and this time they are getting some extra help! When the owner of the trash dump hires them to investigate missing trash they think he is losing it, but when he offers them a good amount of cash they readily agree to help him! When they are accused of forging an art piece they have double the trouble and need to solve two crimes at once! Nothing stops these Grannies and the lengths they go to solve these crimes are above and beyond the call of duty! This series is an amazing collaboration between two talented authors who will keep you in stitches until the very last page! I can't wait for the next book and I hope it isn't to long I don't know how long I can last without my Grannies! Highly recommended and if you haven't read this series you need to start now!

The Granny Series is wonderful, and the newest book was a great addition. The grannies constantly find themselves facing all kinds of different problems, and I feel bad that they have to deal with them. However, watching them solve them makes for a very entertaining and very interesting book. The people and places in this small town have so many surprises and stories to share. I love how the Grannies take on everything that is thrown at them. They work great as a team, but have their own troubles. Kelsey and Nancy work magic in this book. The southernisms, grannyisms, and great mysteries make this a must-read book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely love the Grannies… Abby Ruth, Sera, Lil, and Maggie are a boatload of fun. As the grannies attempt to fix Lil’s beloved car the tucker Torpedo before she finds as they also deal with a garbage scandal and stolen art. These quick witted, downright hysterical grannies kept me laugh throughout. This is a great series from two amazingly talent authors that you do not want to miss. I do recommend reading them in order but it is not necessary.
