I loved Returned to You. This is a story of a second chance. Two people with different anxieties suddenly meet four years after they shared a college class. I love that they never forgot each other - to the point of sabotaging or never having other dates. The story is well written and flows along quickly. I think almost anyone could enjoy Returned to You. I highly recommend it!

Mixed feelings

I liked the premise of the story. It was sweet & I appreciated how it dealt sympathetically with the subject of anxiety. There was an awful lot of repetitive stewing and angsting that didn't seem necessary.

SPOILER ALERT
It made sense to me that Nate's "anxiety about his anxiety" kept him from being able to get the words out when he was with Colby. But that made it all the more puzzling to me that he would get up in front of a room of strangers and talk about it, and use it to

Loved it so much!! Emma St Clair is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. She packs her stories with fun, romance and excitement. I loved the main characters Nate and Colby!! I loved that they weren't perfect people, but real people experiencing real-life problems. The ending was so sweet!! Nate was so brave!!
I also loved the epilogue!! It was so special and sweet I was saying 'Awwww!' the whole time :)
The plot was good and I also really enjoyed the secondary characters.
Overall, I would

Such a unique plot line

In clean romance, many books follow a typical theme. Returned to You has a unique plot. The two main characters met in college, but due to a misunderstanding, never got to have their first date. Four years later, through a series of coincidences, they reconnect. This story weaves together the reality of anxiety disorders (with such accurate detail), an upstart tech company, hurricane season in Texas, solid friendships, and a couple you can’t help but fall in love with. I

It was alright.

There were some cute and fun parts in this book that I really enjoyed. I don't have anxiety and probably don't understand what it's like and how debilitating it can be. So it's hard to judge this book for me. I wish Nate hadn't taken so long to tell the truth to Colby. With all that's come out about anxiety and the fact that it's talked about more and there seems to be better ways to deal with it it still felt like the author was putting Nate back in the time where nobody wanted

Returned to You is Emma St. Clair's newest book. It is her first book in the Second Chance With You series. I really liked the book. The main characters met in college ,but ended up going their separate ways. The characters are likable and seemed genuine. The guys had their quirky moments, but acted like the average computer geeks. The story is very current and any of the characters could be one of your neighbors. The story is entertaining and somewhat heart breaking. As with most of Ms. St. ...more

I really enjoyed this story, it was heartbreaking at times but only because I empathised with both Nate and Colby for various different reasons. I found it refreshing to read a story which not only features anxiety and deals with it sensitively but also has the man as the one living with anxiety every day. My only gripe is that I wanted it to be longer, I wanted to read in detail about what happened after the presentation and when Colby finally told Nate her story. To me that just shows how much ...more

I love a good second chance romance, and Emma St. Clair’s Second Chance with You provides exactly that. Colby and Bate’s story in Returned to You (Book 4) is a perfect example. It’s superbly written and a lot of fun. Can’t to much better than that in my opinion. Great plot, great cast of characters and great writing. I’m glad I downloaded it. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely ...more

I really enjoyed Returned to You. It is a story of a second chance with ones forever love. It was hard not to fall in love with Nate. He is quirky, nerdy, and a romantic. He is also too hard on himself because of being diagnosed with anxiety while attending college. He believes he cannot be forgiven or have the love he always wanted. I loved how the story ended. Maybe his friends will get a book of their own. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Returned to You. The main characters are likable and well-developed. Emma St. Clair does an excellent job of writing a great second-chance romance with one of her characters having an anxiety disorder. The plot moves along well. I like the setting of Houston, TX. There are interesting twists in the story. The epilogue is perfect and left me with the warm fuzzies. I recommend this book to readers of clean romance and readers of Christian romance. I received an ARC. I ...more

Best epilogue ever!!

Oh my goodness! This was the sweetest book ever. So witty, so clever, so educational.
In the newsletter from the author today she mentioned a bit about how the writing on this story unfolded...I think it totally drew me in even more. I couldn't wait to read through the novel and see how the epilogue tied in...then I got there and I was so blown away!
This is good 'til the last page, and beyond.
On a steaminess level I would rate this a pleasant PG.
This read is absolutely worthy

Loved it.
The story itself was well done. I really like second chance stories and this one had a twists and turns to keep it exciting.

But, it was kinda hard on my heart to read this one.
The H has general anxiety––like my kids, who say it was portrayed true-to-life. :(
The h has PCOS––like me. A diet change––that I heard about on TV and not from my doctor––got us our baby girl after years of miscarriages.

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

A novel with promise.
I purchased a copy of the short novella Second Chance With You book 4:Returned to You by Emma St. Clair and this review was given freely.
Irony places dating app designer and temporary mailman Nate together with sewing crafter Colby four years after their disastrous first date.
Misunderstandings, fate, and being ashamed of having an anxiety disorder make this romance complicated by doubts and secrets a poignant one.

Emma has written another sensational story! Colby and Nate captured my heart from the beginning. Years after Nate’s unexplained no show for their date at the end of college, they run into each other again. The spark is still there but Colby needs answers and Nate seems unable to give them to her. In the end, they do get their happy ever after. I was given a free copy of this book and have chosen to write a review.

Returned to You

Returned to You - Nate and Colby met in college. After taking months to get up the nerve to ask her out, Nate missed their first date without explanation. Four years later, their paths cross again but fate can't work it's magic if these two can't lay it all on the line with the truth.

Great story!

I enjoyed reading Nate and Colby's story. Nate having to deal with anxiety was a great twist to the story. A main thing in this book was Hurricane Jerry as it hit Houston.

Well, as I read this book Tropical storm Imelda was pounding Houston and tropical storm Jerry is predicted to become a hurricane. Just kinda interesting, how things sometimes happen.

Sweet and Clean Second Chance Romance
This is a sweet and clean second chance romance with a hurricane as a backdrop. The plot is sound and well planned. The characters are all realistic and more than believable. This author always writes an engaging story that leaves a good and warm feeling in your heart. I received this book for free and this is my honest opinion.
