"I'm in charge.
And if you don't stop fucking with my nerds, especially that one. They'll be pullin' me outta here in handcuffs, and you in a body bag."

Wow. There's something seriously wrong with me.
No really. I'm tumbling into a deep dark hole that I found, whereby webcomics completely take over my life.

So here's the thing, I read this comic two days ago in one sitting - and for the life of me, I can NOT stop thinking about it. These characters have taken over my life, the story has managed

just a friendly reminder that i love this comic and you all should read it!!

I am shook. I am so very, very shook. In fact, I potentially have never been so shook before in my life. Why am I shook, I hear no one ask? WELL LET ME TELL YOU

Okay first off, this is an ongoing webcomic about two guys who get somehow get some superpowers and deal with life and stuff with those. It's kind of like the movie Chronicle but better and gayer. It deals with topics such as homophobia, abuse, drug

A few years ago Mitch bullied Jonas before going to prison and disappearing from Jonas life.
But then he came back. First Jonas is really afraid of Mitch, but then they become project partners. With this they spend a lot of time together and Jonas gets to know the real Mitch, while also finding secret places that hide big scary and fascinating secrets in it.

P.S. The comic is still going on so check it out!

The characters were so realistic, because they weren’t

I was a little scared going into it because the whole "bully and nerd fall in love" romance can certainly be done in a wrong way. I was concerned that the bullying aspect would be brushed off and romanticized even, but I was recommended to read this so I started, and very early it was clear that this wasn't going to do all the things I was scared it would do.

I can't say much without spoiling it for y'all, but trust me that abuse and bullying aren't romanticized at all.

In fact, this
I'm so.... soft!!!! The relationship is done so well for this kind of scenario and I just... love it. Mitch is a soft gay who I love and Jonas is just realising he's bi because of his feelings for Mitch. It's so amazing and I love it so much.

My reading goal for this year was to branch out from what I usually stick to—both in genres and formats. I've been trying to incorporate more graphic novels and comics into my tbr so when I came across this webcomic in my feed, I thought I'd see what it was like.

And holy shit. It was phenomenal. The premise, the characters, the relationships, the topical issues and the art style. That goddamned art style. It blew me away, it was detailed and gorgeous, but my favourite thing about it

When I've seen nerd/bully I was quite sceptical about it but this is actually a really cute story that doesn't adhere to harmful romance tropes. Bulling is clearly condemned and there are trigger warnings when needed (as a list in the blurb and right before the triggering content).
The romance is adorable and there's So Much PINNING!!!

I've been super obsessed with webcomics lately and this is absolutely AMAZING holy crap.
It wasn't that long so I read it in a day and now I can't find anything better that I haven't already read.

I've seen the artist around Instagram and had I notice he had really cool OCs with a nice art style but never really thought much about it until I started getting into webcomics the past few weeks.

The beginning is pretty cliche, the nerd getting bullied by this delinquent blah blah blah u get the idea.

This is absolutely one of the best webcomics I've ever read

These characters are perfect because they are not perfect. They aren't these model-like guys who had a lot of girls before they realized that they actually liked each other which I feel like is a common cliche in manga and comics. (And if I come across one more of those abusive and exploiting relationships I'm seriously going to throw up)

Instead they're just a nerd and a bully thrown together under unexpected circumstances, with
this was actually so good?? i’m actually really surprised?? (thank you alex for convincing me to read this)
long exposure kinda gave me a gay stranger things vibe and i’m so here for this!!

i’m kinda still iffy about the whole bullying thing but i actually love mitch so much!! he’s so protective of the people he cares about and is really just such a softie inside tbh. and him and jonas were so fucking cute together sjfksfkfg

the artwork was also super cute and the attention to detail (e.g. even

While I love the drawing style and the main characters and their budding relationship make the fangirl in me squeal like a little pig, the story is, alas, not quite amazing yet. It's often too unrealistic, and often too comical. Only Mitch and Jonas have really been fleshed out yet. Other people behave more like depictions than real people. One of Mitch's friends is even drawn resembling a dog, both in facial expressions and behaviour. The world they all live in is comically portrayed (High ...more

It's ONGOING! I should have checked that. There are only 9 volumes (I think) available, but of what's out, the plot is great so far. It reminds me of this book I used to beta.

This is an ongoing webcomic, and usually I wait until a comic is finished before talking about it but BOI do I have things to say. This has gone right up into the ranks of my favourite webcomics of all time, sitting comfortably with Rock and Riot & Check Please.

Reasons you should read:
- The romance is so soft and pure, even if it doesn't seem like it's going to be at first.
- Mitch is my gay son who I will protect with my dying breath.
- Jonas is the purest boy to have ever lived and I love

This is an ongoing webcomic, and I totally binged through the first seven chapters in just a couple of hours.
The art is awesome and super fun, and the characters just keep worming their way deeper into my heart and I was gasping and laughing and tearing up and I literally shouted "WHAT?? NO!!!" when I realized I was all caught up and there wasn't any more.
Will probably wait 6 months to a year to come back and continue. Knowing me I'll just start over! But I don't think I can stand trying to just
