Arc provided by author for honest review. Wow I just love hockey players. And Dak just became one new hot book boyfriends. I can't believe how much I adore this man. And at times yes I wanted to smack him. And tell him hey stop being an ass. But ya hockey players are my weakness. They just are so damn sexy and so outgoing and did I mention sexy lol. I love how dak put Tracey's needs before his own. It shows how much of great guy he is and Tracey I absolutely love her. I mean there were times I ...more

Elizabeth Hartey lights the lamp with CROSS STROKE, the first book in the On the Edge series. Due to past relationships neither champion figure skater Tracey Hayward nor hockey captain, Dakota (Dak) Andersen is interested in dating anyone. However, the two keep crossing paths and end up needing to work together on and off the ice. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adult audiences.

I adored this book. Elizabeth Hartey does an amazing job with her character development. Tracey

Tracey and Dak slam into each others lives when they least expect it. Both of them are getting over tragedy in their pasts. They both love the ice, him with hockey, and Tracey a figure skater.

The two have to rebuild their lives. Tracey wants nothing to do with a relationship at her new school. When they crash, sparks fly. Their chemistry was so full of sexual tension. I loved watching them fall for each other.

Cross Stroke was a fairly well paced. The plot was engaging and there was a ton of

Triggers: Cheating; revenge porn; suicide attempt

I liked this book, the banter between the main characters and the way both characters have faced their inner demons and survived.

Tracey is on a new campus, having decided to transfer schools to finish her graduate studies after being betrayed by her last boyfriend. Her ex did a number not only on her self-confidence but with her self worth. Trace doubts her abilities to judge

After having to decide whether or not Tracey could continue with her education, she decides that moving schools is the way to go. Dak is cocky and arrogant. He is also

Ohh I am such a sports book junkie!! Cross Stroke is about a hottie that plays Hockey and then throw in a figure skater as well...I just knew I would fall in love!!!

This book was about Tracey, she is a Gold Medalist for two years in a row and then suddenly, she had to transfer university's due to some crap that happened to her. She was heart broken and her reputation was ruined.

Dak is the hottie that plays Hockey. He has had his heart broke as well and has a heart felt story about his ex, but

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC of this wonderful book! To begin, I love the concept- an NA romance with a hockey player and a figure skater? Sign me up! Dak is one of my new favorite book boyfriends, and I love how he cares for Tracey. The author weaves the romance with the struggles these two must overcome to make a page-turning, swoon-worthy read. Highly recommend to NA fans!

Life is all about his studies, hockey and the occasional one nighter to satiate himself. Things are going as planned until he literally crashes into a beautiful figure skater while practicing one day.

Tracey Hayward transferred schools after suffering a massive heartbreak and humiliation. She wanted a fresh start which included finishing her degree and skating. She's

Holy Hotness with a hockey stick! This is my first read by Hartley and let me just say, I am a fan. She drew me in from the start and kept me entranced for the entire ride.
Dak and Trace are both trying to forget their heartbreaking past. Both never really moving on. Vowing to never open themselves up to that kind of pain again. But when fate decides to throw these two together, there is no stopping the chemistry between them.
I would love to give more details but I am afraid to give something

This was a great book about moving on from the past and forgiving yourself for the mistakes you made as well as not assuming that everyone is going to be like the mistakes of your past.

I really liked Tracey and I knew something bad went down between her and her ex Sean but to discover what it really was broke my heart. I loved the friendships she formed with Alex Sanchez and Nikki and how they helped her with everything that she went through in the book. Tracey was definitely afraid to get

Tracey & Dak literally run into one another. She is starting over, since her chance at happiness was ruined at the last school she attended. This time, she plans to keep to herself and study.

Dak is immediately attracted to Tracey. They have a lot in common. The both love to skate, hate to be considered anything but the best, and both want to be the boss.

This story starts your heart pumping right from the very first chapter. The characters have excellent banter, heat, and ton of competition

A college romance that was a slow burn of sorts. With just enough angst and humor in it to add to the storyline. Enjoyable read with likeable characters.

One of the best sports romances Ive read in awhile. It focusing more on relationships and college but the added hockey and ice skating really ties this story together. I absolutely loved Dakotas character and honestly he was swoon worthy. He was an upstanding guy and loved outlander, like what more can I ask for?!? I also really enjoyed Traceys character and how it showed so much development through out the novel. Really well down book, reminds me of the rivalry by Nikki Sloane but with hockey ...more

This was a really cute book about learning to love again.

I loved Dakota immediately. He was so adorable in his attraction to Tracey. And the whole mix up at the start was fun to read. I wish it was strung out a little further because it was entertaining to read.

Tracey I had a harder time getting a read on. She has quite the backstory, so rightfully so,

Dakota Anderson is the captain of the ice hockey team and stays as far away from serious relationships as he can after he lost Abbey. When he collides with Tracey on ice sparks fly but not necessarily in a good way.

Tracey was in a relationship that left her heart shattered & her reputation destroyed so she dropped out of the college she was going to, and took some time off. Her next step was to transfer into a different college where no one knew her for a fresh start, but her broken heart wasn't healed yet, so she had no intentions of ever getting into another relationship. Fate had other plans for her when she literally crashed into the hockey captain, because even though she couldn't stand his cocky ...more

I don't normally write anything but I felt like it for this one
Trace's internal monologue against boys just made me eye roll every 10 sec and it got worst when she met Dak, after a moment I was like "OMG OK I GET IT! NO LOVE, NO SEX, NO BOYS!!" can we move on now?
I'm sad cause the story appealed to me, I'm a big fan of "Sports Romance" but no I hated Trace I couldn't even feel compassion for what happened to her I was like Boohoohoo poor you. In fact the whole story was a major eye roll.

Tracy is a figure skater pursuing graduate studies after transferring from another college. She left behind a betrayal so deep that she just isn't sure she will ever recover from it. Dak is a college hockey player. He, too, has a tragic past that still haunts him years later. He has kept that past at bay with meaningless encounters, with those that expect nothing from him.

The hilarious banter between Trace and Dak kept me rolling though out this entire book. The chemistry between them was
