It was repetitive, but since it's built to be a kind of textbook, it is understandable. Plus, the repetition helped to remember the important bits better.
I really loved the modern examples (I mean I love Pixar anyway...), these were very helpful to connect theories to real instances. I believe I understand story structure much better now.

Overall, a very nice and easy-reading textbook. :)
