Chance Mayer

I sat in Wyatt’s apartment, looking around at his tidy living room while he made me tacos in the kitchen. Jesus, this man was something else. He had his own version of cockiness. It was something like my own, only subtle. More mature.
He sang an old country song over the sizzling beef.
His voice was smooth and deep. It was a real turn on for me. Of course, I

This is a refreshing change from a lot of MM romances I have read. Both sets of parents are accepting of their son's. Not all of the minor characters are gay, actually, I don't think any other characters are. I like that both men are not stereotypical. I do have an issue with some inconsistencies. Occasionally the wrong name is mentioned or a few typos caused me to reread a few things to figure out what it was supposed to say. The baseball terminology is not what I am used to. Not sure if that ...more

Maybe 2.5 stars. The writing and editing are better in this one.

I do like romance but this was just cheesy.

Wyatt and Chance meet. Both have had bad experiences with relationships.
One is a teacher and baseball coach, the other a rancher and baseball player.

They have sex....a lot...rather a variety of locations.
They fall in love, get married and adopt a child.

What more can I say?
If you are gay, why do you want to imitate heterosexual behaviour?

A swing and a miss

This story had a lot of potential but failed to capitalize on it. The characters were somewhat single dimensional and needed more depth. There were possibilities for drama with previous partners that are mentioned in the story but the author did not use any type of conflict to make the story more enticing. Instead, the author just moved from one sex scene to another, which, after a while became somewhat boring instead of erotic. I began to look forward to The End.

Sweet and fun

I enjoyed this story and the HEA. Good background and well developed characters. I kept expecting some catastrophic drama that never came, and a couple of sex scenes seemed repetitive. But overall, this was a nice MM romance with a good bit of comedy and fun baseball and music references.

Cute but too long

It was okay needs too be at a faster pace. Did not like how some of the story repeated out self. It was cute and sweet between characters.
