This book by Steven Codey, gives the reader a basic understanding of the vast world of Python and it's applications.
While Steven illustrates a lot of important features, comparisons, characteristics and applications, at the end of the book it felt like there wasn't really that much substance.
There were no proper guidelines on how to write a code, and some of the examples that you find later on in the book are impossible to comprehend for a beginner unless you refer other books or videos.
The two star rating is because of his explanation at the beginning of the book, that allows the reader to tread lightly into the waters of Python, and also for his explanation on Data structures.
Nothing else was really exceptional or worth mentioning.
Python in itself is a fun language to learn. If you want to learn more about it, skip this book and try some other more comprehensive texts.
