A fine and accessible introduction to public choice economics, a discipline that applies economic thinking to understand how political decisions are made (or, as a founding economist and Nobel Laureate puts it, politics without romance). The annotated bibliography at the end of each chapter is particularly helpful. Great for newcomers to the field.
